San Diego Suspension Systems

Whether you are cruising down the coast or heading up into the hills of San Diego suspension probably isn’t something you think about a lot. But if you find that your vehicle feels out of balance when you make a sharp turn, or if you notice that your drive seems overly bumpy, what you’re likely experiencing are problems with your suspension system. Suspension systems include such parts as shock absorbers, springs and dampers that maintain control of your car and ensure a smooth ride.

Belltech Drop Shackles Do the Job

Reviewed By Michael H (Vallejo, CA) Reviewed for a 2004 Chevy Silverado —5/26/2015 9:16 AM

These Belltech Shackles allowed me to drop and level the rear of my 2004 Chevy Silverado ex/sb. Though not advertised, I had the option of lowering the rear 1" or 2" with this set of shackles. The shackles are powder coated and have rubber bushings. There isn't a grease fitting on these shackles so lube them well at installation and keep them inspected.

Rally improved my ride - 2002 Silverado 1500

Reviewed By Marc A (Osceola, WI) Reviewed for a 2002 Chevy Silverado —5/26/2015 2:35 AM

Replaced the 10 month old Bilsteins. Bilsteins rode like the old shocks, don't bother. Ranchos smoothed out the ride. It still rides like a truck, but it's not bone jarring anymore. Use wd40 to aid in installing the boots. You will be glad you purchased the Rancho RS5000 shocks.

Did everything they said it would!

Reviewed By Jeremey M (EDGARTOWN, MA) Reviewed for a 2004 Ford Ranger —5/25/2015 2:44 PM

the torsion keys are great. These keys did keep the stock ride but made the front a tiny bit stiffer. But it's not too bad at all. Don't forget a tire alignment after.
