15'RAM 2500Cummins4x4 CrewCab 8' bed rear factory air suspension
I test drove a 2300lb slide in truck camper with the stock sway bar. At 48+ mph it would sway unbearably. I believe the factory 100% air suspension is to blame. I talked with the Hellwig engineer, he said just replace the rear sway bar. RAM does a good job with their front sway bar. The Hellwig Bigwig sway bar has three adjustable settings. I put mine at the middle setting. It seems just slightly firmer. I haven't test drove a truck camper with it yet, I will have to follow up later.
Helps out my RAM 3500
I wait several weeks to send a review so could drive the vehicle while loaded with these springs. The 5th wheel towed places about 3000lbs in the bed of the truck. The truck had a distinctly nose up attitude, and had a very rough ride. The load in the bed was 70% to 80% of max spec. After the install, the nose up attitude was nearly gone and the additional spring movement allowed a much better ride. The fact that this truck was manufactured with no secondary spring was a mistake by RAM.
Easy install 2011 Ford 150 4x4
I installed in about 1 hour with the truck on the ground no issues and it raised the rear about a half inch, (which leveled out the truck) I haven't pulled our 10,000# travel trailer yet and unless it does something other then work as expected I will not repost anything.
