I was debating whether or not to get the 2.5/1.5" lift kit for my 07 tahoe when I put my new wheels/33" tires on. I decided to put the kit in and knew it was the right move the minute it was finished. I did not install it, so I cannot comment on the ease of installation, however the included instructions appeared to be very detailed and complete. The truck looks sooo good now and you can for sure tell that you are higher up when sitting in the drivers seat. Its not too high that it ruins the clean look of the tahoe, but high enough that it gives it a tough stance and clearance for serious rubber!

overall i am quite satisfied with this product. it gave my ride a much more aggressive look. the suspention is left tigher than before so you do sacrifice a bit of ride comfort but i feel like the handling actually improved. the directions that come with it are just about useless. i ended up finding a you tube video for a similar product that made the install go much more smoothly. you will defiantly want a case of beer and a buddy to take this project on.

After installing the Rancho Lift in our truck, we are very happy with the way it looks. But, installing it was not exactly as cut and dry as they say. Rancho really needs to clarify the install of the subframe as cutting the fins off of the front differential housing (DOES NOT) give enough clearance by the lower control arm bracket. You have to cut off the bracket no matter what to make it fit with enough clearance as to not have anything hitting. Also, the front shocks are only about a 16th - 1/8 inch away from hitting the factory bumper stop mounts.Other than that, it is a good system and does make the truck looks nice. Some tweaking always needs to be done!

This kit was a great deal. The packing was not the greatest- just parts all thrown into the box, also missing a few minor things. But was VERY quickly resolved.Over all a good kit...

I recieved the lift kit and looked at the directions, immediately took it to a mechanic. Even he had some issues installing it. Put a kink in a air filter line(due to part of it being mounted on the body inside the engine compartment, and the other half on the engine) but its not that bad. Overall look is awesome. Definately worth it. Unless you're a mechanic, reconsider doing it yourself though. Took my mechanic 14 hrs to complete it(charged me for 8)and he does suspension and body lifts all the time. Probably just an issue with the Dakota.
