Retrax RetraxONE MX Tonneau Cover Reviews

Retrax tonneau cover for 2011 Honda Ridgeline

Reviewed By Charles F (WAXHAW, NC) Reviewed for a 2011 Honda Ridgeline —5/17/2017 11:02 AM

I am extremely pleased with the Retrax tonneau cover for my 2011 Honda Ridgeline. This was a replacement for the expensive factory-installed cover which only folded in half and was practically useless. Installation took about an hour and was quite simple. The one problem I encountered was the placement of the drains through the two rubber plugs in the truck bed. In my truck there was nowhere for the water to go after entering the area below the rubber plugs. Drain holes had to be drilled.

TruXedo Lo Pro QT for 2011 Honda Ridgeline 6-5-2012 (Rincon GA)

Reviewed By Timothy M (Rincon, GA) Reviewed for a 2011 Honda Ridgeline —6/6/2012 6:15 AM

Product arrived on date promised and assembly/installation was easy. General instructions and illustrations are good, and Honda specific insert sheet with pictures made it simple. The cover material is heavy and the cross bars the tension spring adjusters keep the cover tight. My complaint is with the overall fit. The cover width is 1/2 inch shorter than the bed on both sides. Even after setting it in the sun and stretching it to the max it doesn't completely cover the velcroed side rails. Also, the rubber flap/tail at the end of the cover (toward tail gate) is only about 2 inches long leaving a 1/2 inch gap for water and dust to blow back into the bed. TruXedo needs to keep a closer eye on measurements, and should add a longer rubber tail piece with a velcro tape strip at the tailgate to provide a better weather seal. I know no cover is totally water tight, but I get a lot of water in the bed when driving in moderate rain. If those items were corrected this product would have received excellant ratings across the board.
