Cover Works Well, But Rails & Hardware & Latch Updates Needed

Reviewed By Carol C (Machipongo, VA) —4/22/2017 8:56 PM

Very good quality cover, and works well. However for 2017 Ridgeline, there are 4 issues: 1. instructions show clamps, but brackets replace the clamps, so no clamps are needed; 2. lid of in-bed storage hits the two side rails (only opens 3/4 of the way), which need to have cut-outs to allow for full opening; 3. brackets that replace clamps and screws should be powder-coated a matching black color, instead of the raw steel silver color; 4. latch location s/b on passenger side to avoid left hinge.

Very nice cover...

Reviewed By Michael C (West Deptford, NJ) Reviewed for a 2016 Chevy Colorado —4/21/2017 7:44 AM

Overall, very good cover-looks great, easy install, & is durable. It has kept my bed totally dry after rain. Security is an unexpected concern-I was able to slide my hand under the flap near the tailgate, pull the release cable and roll up the cover. I contacted Truxedo, they advised instead of closing the tailgate first and then the cover, to do the opposite. This allows the weather stripping to tuck behind the tailgate, blocking the release cable. That seems to be a workaround, not by design.
