"The cover was simple to install and looks good. I recommend paying close attention to the bracket portion of the installation. It's easy to install them wrong if you don't pay attention."

"The installation took less then 30 minutes. Looks VERY sharp on my 05 Silverado. Helpup great in the rain and on the highway. Certainly if your just looking for a cheap way to protect your cargo, this does the job and looks good doing it."

"Unpacked the box and all the bits and pieces were there. Read over the instructions; everything seemed pretty straightforward. I began installing the parts and had it put together in about 1/2 hour. Except something didn't look quite right. Then I noticed the label on the crosspiece that said "TAILGATE" had been placed at the FRONT of the bed. So I took it all down and redid it with the right pieces in front and in back! This time it only took about 5 minutes to take it off and about 15 to reinstall it correctly. Was a little 'tight' getting the snaps fastened in front between the bed and cab. It looks great and everything fits fine once I actually examined the parts! Love it!"

"installed tonneau cover in about 20 minutes with a little help from a neighbor (lay the cover out in sun for at least 30 minutes prior to installation to soften it up). the cover looks sharp on my  2009 black tacoma. just returned from a 1000 mile road trip and the cover performed without a flaw. the trip was all highway miles(65+ mph speed) and I never had to tighten the cover's braces or resnap any snap. very satisfied with the cover's looks, performance and value."

"Has some good and bad design qualities. The rear bar removal is not easy due to the cheap plastic corners and the fact that there is really no release mechanism to it. The corners need more insulation to make it more water tight. The only real issue is the cheap plastic snaps. Cruched one trying to get the tonneay to snap on. Lost one first time I had to roll the cover up and et the support bars in the bed, one fell off the rear piece. Not sure how well this would hold up if you have to unsnap and roll it up a lot."

"Easy install, thorough instructions. Great Fit. Sharp looking. Impressive quality. This is my first tonneau but the quality in the details is undeniable. I now can travel with the family and have dry, somewhat secure 'interior' type space for groceries or other items. Nice bonus seal kit for tailgate. Easy removal was a must as well as light weight. I actually lifted a used fiberglass cover ARE brand onto my truck but thankfully it did not fit. That thing was a monster. I am glad I kept looking for the right solution. I would like to see a rollup helper and a long pouch for storage of the end rail and bows."

"I was surprised how easy it was to install my Extang Blackmax Tonneau cover. I did it by myself in about 45 minutes. The instructions are very easy. I like how the only tool you need is the allen wrench that they included. The way it's designed there are no metal clamps clamping onto the metal of your truck. It is very secure. The cover is a nice looking material and it fits perfectly. And as an added bonus, I am getting about 1 mpg more with this cover on. Every little bit helps, right? I would recommend this to anyone in the market for a tonneau cover for their pickup truck. The warranties and replacement guarantees are First class. A++ Company and product."

"Exactally what I expected it to look like on the truck. For those with tailgate spoilers - not to worry. Mine went on and had no problems with it. Still fits with it on the vehicle and looks great. Tailgate closes and snuggly fits with the cover. So - if your thinking about it...go for it! If you leave the plastic bedliner on the vehicle it will need to be trimmed by the cab. I replaced the plastic bedliner with a bedrug and between the two - a great look and fit!"

"I got the Extang Black Max Tonneau for my '09 Frontier King Cab after reading several positive reviews. The only thing that was tricky was getting the front snaps secure towards the cab. That's a product of the design of the truck, not the cover. It flaps in the wind a little more than I would've liked even after adjusting the snaps and the cross braces to make it as tight as possible. Overall, I had it on my truck in less than 45 minutes in a pouring rain storm. I would definately recommend the cover to anyone. The quality of the cover is excellent. Well built, well thought out and everything is included, even the hex wrench to tighten the clamps and some spare snaps."
