"It was very easy to install. Simple directions, it helps to unpack and look over everything first. It was 40 degrees out and with the snaps, it would'nt budge too much, so I just waited until the next day when it had the sun on it and it stretched fine. Looks good, doesn't ripple much, feels durable, and after one week, I saved 1.0mpg. That's pretty good. I'm concerned about taking it up north to Vermont this Christmas: what if I can't resnap it? It gets cold up there. But I would buy it again."

"I guess I now know how they got the name Black MAX. The MAX stands for "maximum", like in best. Best quality aluminum rails and bows, best quality vinyl tonneau and perfect fit. Well worth the price. Now please send me my free gift maxseal."

"installation was very simple, product seems to be of good quality, the only reason a 5 star was not given, is that you didn't send free gift, maxseal tailgate seal. have not yet received free gift. why make the offer if you don't follow through?"

"Good cover for the price...While installing had to realign side rail a little bit after loosening the clamps somewhat, but not enough, resulting in a broken plastic snap lock between side and front rail...Also, I didn't recieve the bonus gift of a cargo bar or tailgate sealer.."

"I waited years before I finally ordered the Extang BlackMax for my 1994 F-150. I recently traded-up to a 2005 F-150 and ordered a new BlackMax for this truck immediately. Installation is really easy, especially since I had installed a BlackMax on my 1994 truck less than a year ago. It looks great, it is functional, and I love it."

"install was fairly easy with two people. was a bit tight the first time, but is easy to stretch now. the clamps are only on the sides, and i notice the back moving while i drive on the freeway - it appears air is getting under the cover at the tailgate and making the tarp try to flap, but the clamps are holding tight (for now). It has handled the recent SoCal winds of 55mph gusts with me driving against the wind on the freeway pretty well. Haven't noticed any difference in mpg, even without the windy days. I mainly bought it to hide the contents of the bed, and it does that well."

"Easy to install, took about 1/2 hour. Very good quality materials for the price. Really like the spring loaded bows and the cold and warm weather snap settings. Already received comments on how nice it looks."
