"The stickers which showed you where to place the rail backets lined up with areas of the bed / factory liner so they could not be installed in those location. Other then that I am quite happy."

Great cover

"The Black Max looks great on my truck. The rails were very easy to put on. I put it on in the winter and the cover was a little tough to snap, even after turning the plastic clips over for a looser fit. I had to wait for a sunny day so it stretched a little. But it fits and looks great!"

"The tonno cover is superb, installation of the rails and the clamps were easy. However, the cover itself, was rather chilly, and it wouldn't stretch, so I have to wait until this weekend to put it on. But nonetheless, the cover seems to be very solid and well constructed, and from what I have heard, Extang rocks!"

"A little tight snapping it on for the first time in cold weather. Had to move it to the sun to warm up. Only took about an hour to put on and that was with cutting an over-the-rail bedliner. Looks good."

"This thing is great. I can feel the difference in how the truck rides. And my gas consumption has gone way down. I fill up a lot less and can just feel more horse just cause of the cover."

"I love the all black look, it was easy to install. Also being able to adjust the snaps and bows is a handy feature. Once it was all snapped on it covered more of the sides then my old one. The price is right I highly recommend it."

"My brother and father have the classic platinum cover on their trucks, which I very much liked. My truck is black, though, and I thought the blackmax looked very similar and would go better with the all black color. It did, but I'd rather have the metal snaps with the black frame. Great fitting and looking tonneau cover. Pro's: 1. Looks great, much better than other tonneaus I see. Seems water tight, even a pressure wash aimed into the side failed to get more than a drop through. With the exception of the snaps, looks durable. Guess we'll see on the snaps. 2. Cost 3. Easy installation (10 minutes to install, 15-20 to snap down cover). Cons: 1. I like the metal snaps of the classic platinum better, they seem like they'd be more durable than the plastic ones found on the blackmax. 2. It was difficult to snap down the first time in the winter, I had to use pliers. Yet, when on, it doesn't seem that tight. When driving at higher speeds, it bulges up near the cab and gets pushed down in near the tailgate. But when stopped, it seems tight enough."

Looks good/seals bad

"I really loved the way my tacoma looks with the black max cover. Needed extra weatherstripping to seal cab rail though. Stretched a bit after having it for a couple weeks and had to put it on a tighter setting. Overall i was moderately pleased. Prices are so good i ordered a cold air intake two weeks later."

"It works really well. It is really tight and hard to put on when you first get it but it does its job and keeps my truck bed dry and is easy to assemble. I assembled the entire cover in about 1/2 hour."
