"I really like the look of the cover, but I would not recommend you try to install it in cold weather. I needed to stretch it out a little in order to put the cross members in and get all the snaps down on the tailgate. Otherwise it really looks nice on my truck."

"The cover fit very tight to the frame. The frame fit perfectly to the bed rails giving a very secure fit. Do not try to fit cover to the frame when its cold."

"had little problem installing with a friend. only problem was that it was cold outside and had trouble making all the snaps reach. put it inside by the heater and with a little help from a heat gun for the corners it went on in minutes. one thing i didnt like was that the parts were loose in the box, as a result we were short one bolt."

Difficult to snap the cover down

"I have a toyota tacoma. My cover looks fine and it was OK to install. I bought it and installed it in December. For whatever reason it is very difficult to stretch and snap the cover down. This is true at the beginning and if I want to uncover a portion and then snap it back down. I wished I'd bought a different cover that would have been easier to open and close."

"Despite the fact that I had to buy a dremel and cut off the excess plastic that overhung the bedliner i love this cover. Once I got the cover on and cleaned the bed it looked great, definitely worth the money, time, and effort i spent. It rides alot smoother on the highway and is pretty much water tight."

"Easy to install, but instructions didn't tell you the peices are different sizes. Looks good when finished, but if you use your bed a lot and have to remove the cover and bars, it can get tedious quickly, and where do you put the bars? The main problem I have is I have a Titan with the utili-track rails. With the cover installed, you can no longer use your side rails. It wouldn't take much to manufacture peices that would eliminate this problem, or you can modify it yourself easily if you don't mind drilling a few holes. Overall, I like the product and the price, but it's not for someone who uses their truck bed often."

"Installation was done in winter @ about 30 deg. F. The rails went on and clamped will minor difficulty, the clamps hole alignment was off enough to affect the thread engagement. The cover is advertised as having a summer/winter option on installation. I set mine up for winter. Putting the cover on without the bows in place was very difficult due to cover shrinkage. It took over 1/2 hour to stretch the cover enough to snap on, that's without the bows installed, then had to crawl under the cover and install the tension bows. Otherwise I would never have gotten the cover snapped down. Overall I am very satisfied with my tonneau cover and its look. It does protect the truck bed very well, and so far has weathered -20 deg. and 2-3 foot deep snow loads during storms with no problems."
