"It only took a matter of 15 minutes to put together which really surprised my Husband and I. It looks great on our truck, very easy to use, has helped increase how many miles we get to the gallon and it is very sturdy. We love it so much we are getting my father one for Christmas. And the price is something you can't beat for the quality! Thank you for making a durable, inexpensive alternative to a campershell for my husband!"

"it installed good until i got to the hold downs the screws for the hold downs were not machined properly and one of them would not start into the hold down went to the hardware store and had to buy another one."

"Getting this cover on was my biggest concern as the plates didn't look to sturdy but so far they've held their own. Really waiting to see what happens in the CO winter when the snow piles up. Waterproof edging does well also."

"Overall, this is an adequate cover. The cover material is a little thinner that I expected it to be. The spring loaded supports are very easy to install & remove. By far the worst feature of this cover is the fact that when the cover is removed, the snaps slide all over making re-attachment a bit of a pain."

"The installation was fairly easy, needed to do some minor cutting of the bedliner. The tailgate sticks to the rail when I open or close it. It looks great!"

"So far, I love it. Lookswise, I have a white truck so it gives it a nice contrast. Installation was a breeze, taking 45 minutes w/a few breaks thrown in. I have even turned a couple of my co-workers onto it, if not for the looks for little bit extra security provided. I did see a jump in gas mileage to about 23 mpg, from my baseline of 21. As well as better passing, since I'm not lugging an extra 80 pounds behind me."

"Out of the box and installed in 15 minutes. No sweat. The cover fits perfectly. I had expected either a "floppy loose fit" or a "tug a war" as is typical with other covers. Amazing that it fit so perfectly with so little effort."

Quick Covering

"I have recently received and installed my Tonneau Cover from your company and was happy with the final results of the product. It made my some-what aging truck look newer and sportier. The installation was extremely easy. The only complaint is that the cover didn't come with any installation directions. Luckily for me I have installed a similiar one before and this one was pretty simple to figure out even without directions. I like how this cover is not attached to the tailgate so that I may access the tailgate without having to undo the cover at all. My overall opion of the cover is of complete satisfaction. Even with the inconvience of not having the installation instructions, it was still simple to install."

"I had previously had the Extang BlackMax Tonneau with my old Dodge Dakota and was very pleased with the product. So of course when I got my new Dodge Dakota, getting another BlackMax was the only logical choice and a no brainer. It holds up well in the heat of the summer and the cold of New York winters. Removing the cover when full access to the bed is desired - it's a snap. I really like the bows that have self contained springs. They go on and off when needed very quickly. The other thing of course that I like about this product is that it is ALL black. Really looks sharp on my black pickup. I would certainly recommend this for anyone considering a high quality tonneau cover at a reasonable price!!"

"As you know, I own a 1994 toyota pick-up short bed. I previously had a similar toneau to the one that I purchased. I thought that the previous toneau was great until I got the Extang BlackMax. Dakota Quad Cab Tonneau Cover

"Cover arrived from the factory in good shape. Some scratches on the frame but nothing that wasn't covered by the actual cover. Easy to install. Took about 15 minutes including reading the instructions. The hardest part was removing my tailgate edge cover; double sided tape was hard to remove. Other than that; no installation problems. Snaps are easy to unsnap but remain snapped at interstate speeds. Snaps seem very light, not sure how durable they will be but so far so good. Good value for the money and looks good on the truck. AutoAnything delivers again!"
