"I recently received the Extang Tonneau Cover. It was very easy to install and took me approximately 30 minutes to install by myself. It looks great, this past weekend I traveled home during a severe tropical storm and everything in the back of my truck stayed completely dry."

"I had bought a 98 Nissan Frontier a few years ago that had a Black Max tonneau cover on it, and I absolutely loved it. It really makes the truck look good, is very versatile, and has held up great. I have now bought a new 2008 Frontier and the first thing I bought for it was a Black Max tonneau cover. I was a bit disappointed that the new cover has plastic snaps instead of the previous metal snaps but they did include extra snaps with it. The price is great and I could not be happier with it."

"The BlackMax Tonneau Cover we recently purchased looks great and has functioned well so far, but was a bit of a pain to install, since we had to cut out a section of the truck bed liner next to the cab. Then the instructions didn't point out which end went next to the cab & which to the tail gate, nor which way the support rails slide in - bowed up or bowed down, so it waa quite a TIGHT fit & fight. Therefore, I'd say the instructions need some fine-tuning. And we did not install the free tailgate seal yet, and today marks the FIRST day of its true trial run, as my husband took the truck on a 12-day camping excursion. We'll see - but I'll bet once it's put on again, we'll love it. We already feel VERY satisfied with the purchase, and would heartily recommend this product - it's just too soon to tell."

"This was the first encounter with this type of cover. I have installed others, but this one was the easiest I have ever done. It fit perfectly. The only tools need were supplied in the hit, a simple allen wrench. Too easy, I will recommend this to anyone that is looking for a cover like this."

"Installation of cover took some time because of bedliner but was able to complete in about an hour by cutting out areas with roto-zip. Appearance is great and it really dresses up our 2001 truck."

"I like the product - this is my third purchase. The support bars are improved. However, I do not like the plastic snaps and two of the six screws were somewhat stripped. Overall, I was disappointed."

"I received the cover sooner than I expected and couldn't wait to install it. I had a 77 F-100 with the same cover and hoped it would install the same. To my surprise whoever installed it on the F-100 used metal screws, so I went to the instructions. Very Easy!! Completed in 20 min. and it looks sweet. THANKS!! Larry K Clarksville,TN"

"I read other reviews on this website and decided to go with this cover as I needed one and didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg for it. I received it (I had it sent to my work) and couldn’t wait to put it on. I installed it over my lunch hour (it took me about 20 – 30 minutes) and it looks great. I drove for about a quarter of a tank before I filled up again and it seemed to raise my mpg by 1 to 2 mpg. I then had to pull my travel trailer and it seemed to help the pulling process (it didn't seem to pull so hard and with less rpm's) and I used less gas to pull it to my usual spot. I would highly recommend this cover and this website."

"Although the installation instructions were not as descriptive as desired, the Extang BlackMax Tonneau cover is well worth the money and looks great! I took my time on installation and it took about 45 minutes to an hour, but it is secure and even on the bed. I ordered my cover on Wednesday and Auto Anything had it on my door step on Friday, not even 2 full days later!"

"The overall cover is excellent. When we were installing it, one of the brackets was very difficult to put on the truck. We had to bend a piece of metal on the truck bed where the bracket goes on. It took 2 hours to put on."

"The installation was quick and easy. Cover fits nice and snug. I like the snap type because I just open a few snaps and throw in some pipe or a couple 2x4s and keep the cover on. I am very happy with the quality of the vinyl and the way the bows fasten into the clips. They don't move around like my last cover. Very nice product and great service from AutoAnything."

"The apperance and quality is a good value for the buck. There were a few scratches in the black rails that could be solved with better packing. I did have to modify the hold down clamps a bit as the supplied screws were not long enough to catch the threads in the clamps, was an easy fix. I would purchase this cover again. "i recieved my tonneau cover approxamately 4 days after my order. i was very happy with the response time. it took about 15 minutes to install on my truck and it was very easy to complete. overall, i was very impressed with the time it took to receive my product and was very impressed with the ease of installation. my friends envy me now and i would reccomend auto anything and black max to them all. the tailgate sealer was difficult to install and didnt stay on unfortunately."

"This is my first extang tonneau and I am fairly satisfied. I have owned other brands and the only problems i see with the extang are minor. First, the bows are kinda high which make the tonneau "stick up" further than i perfer. Also, when driving down the road the cover is not as tight as my other covers and it creates an air pocket in front of the last bow. This causes it to flap in the wind. Other than that, the tonneau was easy to install, and seems sturdy. Enough. Not a bad buy, but i would rather have my tonneaumasters back."

"Really nice. Easy installation. Makes my truck look newer. Increased mileage. My truck has 5.3 litre V-8. I drove 700 miles loaded with luggage for 16 people under tonneau and averaged 19.7 mpg."WOW". I am very pleased with my Extang BlackMax Tonneau Cover."
