"The length from front to back was just a little bit shorter than my bed, so I had to compensate the front to back position to maintain a seal on the tailgate and the front top rail. The width is perfect! I was surprised at how easy it was to install. I really like how the snaps can be positioned two ways to increase/decrease how tight the cover fits. Also the three rails can be adjusted to compensate for a loose fit. I put mine on in the cold weather and still have plenty of room to tighten the cover in case it stretches. The only really bad thing I can say is that I could not use the tailgate seal on any surface. My tailgate would not even come close to closing once the seal was added. I removed the seal and left it as is."

"It was a "snap" to put on. In 20 minutes it was out of the package and on my truck. This cover comes with a great guarantee too! How can you lose? I would recommend the black max to anyone."

"Easy installation. It would be easier if done on a warm day though. Cover needs to be snapped in place and doesn't strech much when cold. I'm very pleased with the cover so far."

"Nice Quality Tonneau Cover, Fairly Easy To Install One Trick That I Used To Install In 40 Degree Weather Is Install Bows After You Have Snapped The Cover All The Way Around Otherwise Very Hard To Snap Because Vynil Is Stiff. ."

"I installed this myself in about a half hour. Cover is of a high quality vinyl. I'm a little concerned with the plastic snaps on the frame rail (they are metal on the cover), but so far so good, and they sent extras in case a few fail. The instructions were clear, and they have their 800 # printed everywhere in case you have questions or need parts."

"First real use for it this week. I put all of the cardboard from X-mas in the back of my pick up until I can get it to the recyclers. It snowed and blew like crazy, but the boxes are still dry."

Economical Bed Cover

"This is a great looking cover for the money. I've had mine on for about 2 weeks and have had no problems, even at sustained highway speeds. Tip for Nissan Titan owners with the utili-track system: make sure you install the short mounts at the tailgate (the bed is a slight trapezoid) and that all mounts are pushed down as far as possible in the tracks on both sides. This will ensure that everything fits and seals properly."

"I was pleased to receive the Cover just a few days after ordering,especially ordering in Mid December. Everything was there and in good condition. It took me about 3 hours to install with no addtional help. I decided to cut away the Dodge bed liner lip that comes over the forward end of the truck bed, so that the liner frame would lay perfectly flat around the truck bed. The TailGate Seal was a good addition and took only minutes to install. So far the cover looks great on my white truck and it has proven to be water tight and have not noticed any flapping. I would recommend this cover from a price/quality standpoint."

"only problem installing was with the clamps for the frame. didn't fit well in cleat slide area of my 2008 TOYOTA TACOMA; I filed the hold down tabs on the clamps to allow them to fit in the groves that are for the cleats. moved the clamp assembly forward to make a better seal for the frame to the rail at the cab end also."

"It has been a long time since I purchased a soft bed cover and the price has gone up in the 15 years since I did. But not muuch. It took me about thirty minutes from opening the box and reading the installation instructions to the finished installation. I could probably install it in ten minutes now that I know where each part fits. The price is right, ($205.00) compared to the hard painted covers ($1,400.00 plus) It's a bargain. Looks good, serves the purpose I bought it for and my friends that own trucks think it looks great. I will continue to be an AutoAnything customer as long as I continue to get the same customer service that you provided on this purchase. Thank you, Lee "

"My wife got this for me last month and it's great. Fits nice and snug, maybe a little too snug in cold weather. The only con is the cover shakes a little at high speeds, anything over 65mph and I can't get it any tighter. Other than that this thing is golden."

"Great cover! Had one previously and it was an excellent product. Would like the SS snaps instead of the plastic ones but still OK. Extang provides brackets to use on '07 Tacoma without cutting bedliner even though product description on Auto Anything website says bedliner has to be cut. Clips mount into rail system making for a easy installation."
