"I have had the cover for about 2 weeks. I think the value is great. It went together with out a hitch except, it was hard to stretch when cold. Even when I undo it and put it back it was still very hard to stretch. It also has the best warranty which is a plus. Over all I think it's great."

The Extang Classic - a Classic Example of Workmanship !

"I ordered this tonneau cover for my 1998 Chevy extended cab, short bed. This product is manufactured from the highest quality materials. The bed rails come with a ribbed rubber seal on the bed side of the rail. The brackets are manufactured from extruded aluminum and come complete with allen bolts. Bolts are inserted from the top for easy installation and removal. I plan to do more truck accessory shopping from AutoAnything."

Good Cover, poor customer service from Extang

"I've had the cover for about a month and am very happy with it. I think it's a great value for the money spent and would recommend it to anyone. Not happy with Extang's customer service though. The box arrived short two pieces. I called their hotline and left clear messages but was never called back. I ended up replacing the parts myself at the hardware store."

"The Extang Classic Tonneau Cover did not fit my bed as I had hoped it would. I actually had to cut a little off of one of the rails just so that it would come close to fitting. If given the chance, I don't believe I would purchase this cover again."

"I have used the Extang Classic Platinum Tonneau Cover for a month now and I'm very pleased with it. The snaps are sometimes pretty hard to get snapped on but once it is snapped, you don't have to worry about your payload getting wet or getting blown out by the wind. It takes a bit of time to snap it down but that time is offset by how quickly it can be rolled up to reveal your payload! I give the Extang Classic Platinum Tonneau Cover 5 stars."

"We live in snow country and the Tonneau cover was a godsend. Everything so far has stayed dry. The only problem we had installing was stretchong the cover to snap in place. Of course it is very cold here and Im sure that did not help!"

"I tow gooseneck trailers at least once a week, but also need a covered bed for hauling hay and feed. I was looking for a bed cover that would be easy to roll up when towing. This tonneau cover makes the transition easy and it looks fantastic. I couldn't be happier with the quality, looks, or ease of installation!"

"Your Etang cover was so simple to install. I installed the cover in December so it was really cold outside,but I had no promblem installing it. I like the fact that the snaps are interchangable to summer to winter conditions. Thanks Bernie "

"COVER CAME WITH ALL PARTS AND EVEN EXTRAS, WAS AN EASY INSTALL AND MAKES MY RAM LOOK EVEN BETTER THAN BEFORE. WITH THE HEAVY SNOW WE GOT THE COVER HELD UP AND DIDNT DROOP OR GIVE WAY. EXCELLENT PRODUCT. WILL DEFINATELY RECOMMEND TO OTHERS."

"I'm very happy with the cover, but when it's cold out, it is difficult to get enough pull on the cover to snap it. I even changed the snaps to the winter setting, but it is still hard."

"The cover was easy to install, and at first looked great...but after I drove through some heavy wind on the highway, it was stretched out and really didn't fit right. I was carefull to install it correctly, and snapped on the cover according to the directions, but it still stretched out, disappointing."

"This is a tremendous improvement over the old one I Had (which also provided 4 years of adequate service). The cross bar supports are superior and should be much more durable. The metal snaps are a thousand fold better than the old "squeeze the plastic" type. Would definitely recommend upgrading to the platinum since the cheaper plastic snaps are not adequate for the cold climate."
