"Comes with No instructions at all (not that you should really need them) but it was very hard to get on even with the snaps set on loose. I also didn't like the fact that it does Not have snaps in the front, i guess it just hooks under a plastic lip (like I said, no directions...also didn't like that the support braces must go where the clamps are (other brands are not this way) this caused a problem because a coplu bolts were snapped off on my '94 Chevy sportside so I could move the clamps to another hole but that meant the braces were in a bad spot....I like my old Tonneau cover better...AUTO ANYTHING was great though! Good Price, Fast Shipping!"

"After serious research and reviews, I made a wise choice with Extang. The directions were clean cut to follow (which anyone that is mechanically inclined could install w/out instructions) and fit/finish was top notch. Bed stays bone dry even the hardest wind driven rain. Thanks Extang!"

2007 Dodge Quad cab short bed owners beware!

"The Extang Classic Platinum is a very well made tonneau cover and worth the investment, if it fits right. I recently purchased one for my 07 Dodge 1500 quad cab, SB. The tonneau frame is bowed, supposedly to fit the contour of the bed, but the bed is straight, which means the rear post holes end up having a 1/2" plus gap on both sides, which will allow water to leak in. Autoanything is a very reliable company to deal with concerning ordering and delivery, just beware this product might not be what you are looking for."

"We installed this over a week ago and it is already helping with gas mileage! The cover was fairly loose at first, even though we had the snaps in the "tighter" position. But, it seems to be fitting better the longer it's on there. We're glad to have it!"

2007 silverado new body crew cab

"It took a while before I got it how I wanted it to fit. Instructions are a little generic. With the factory tailgate cap, you must push the frame farther forward than instructions suggest. That way the tailgate will close easier and not as much gap between the bed and rear part of frame. It includes some extra foam tape but doesn't tell what to do with it, Then after you install the first time you see where it is needed better directions would eliminate installing it twice. Looks Great! would recommend it. Just take your time."

"Installation was not difficult but the instructions were incorrect. The short clamps go at the tailgate position not the cab position. After making this small change everything went together fine. This custom fit is the only one I have found to actually fit the shape of the flareside bed of my truck."

"Very easy to install on my Dodge Ram. It took under 30 minutes and I think if looks great. Days after installation I had to haul things in the back of my truck. So much easier with a soft cover versus a fiberglass one. Unsnap, roll, and go.."
