"Just purchased a new truck, I had the Extang classic Platinum on my first truck for ten years and it is still as good as when I put it on. Not a bit of trouble in ten years. Thats why I purchased the same cover,although the new one has some improvements like the velcro straps and the cross bows that do not slide out. Great product. Steve"

2005 Tacoma

"Great cover. It took me about 1.5 hours to install, but that's mostly because I read everything before I start. I put the snaps on the winter position (they come in the hot weather position), and it still fits tight, even though it's been unseasonably warm in my area. I drove through a major storm and it did not leak (I was surprised). I highly recommend this cover."

"installed easily in 30 min. keeps gear dry in heavy rain at interstate speeds. access to gear is good. as the snaps are loose on the rail, resecuring the tarp is sometimes difficult. fit & trim are very good. i would reccomend it"

"After some minor adjustments my top fits and works like a glove. Make sure you don't put the rail system to close to the cab window area or you won't be able to stretch it to snap it on. The moveable snaps are the best. The removable back rail makes it very easy to load and unload large objects. Very good service from Jason at AutoAnything. Answered e-mails right away, called back when I asked him to. Couldn't be happier with the purchase! Get an XTang cover - you'll be very pleased."

"Anyone who can put this on in 20 minutes is my hero as it took me about an hour or so. Also had to change around the snaps to winter as I'm in Canada! Great product and makes the truck look GOOD! Thank you Extang. Just wish it was about an inch or two longer."

"This cover and all the associated hardware is very high quality and was easy to install on my 2006 Toyota Tacoma. The only feature missing is the ability to open the front cab corners to allow easier access to things in that area when you don't need to open the entire cover."

"The cover was so easy to install. Took 30 mins, instructions were easy to understand. The hardest part was getting all the snaps on, when I reached the tail gate it took some real strentgh to pull them into place. Once the cover stretches, it comes off & goes on relatively easy now. Great cover at a great price. Thanks"

"I purchased the Extang cover to replace a 13 year old Lund cover that came on the truck when I bought it. I liked the features of the extang, like the push button release for the rear bar across the tailgate. The feature that sold me though, were the reversible snaps. I am anxious to see how they work when the cold and snow hits. The cover installed very easily. The only modification I had to do was remove the rubber strip from the tailgate bar. It looks great on the truck."

"After much research, reading customer reviews, and thought, the Extang Classic Platinum Tonneau Cover was purchased. It has met or exceeded all expectations. Installation was easy, high quality materials used throughout, product was well designed and constructed, as well as ease of use, provide great satisfaction with my choice. It was not easy to find a tonneau cover for the Toyota Tacoma with its newer composite bed and rail tie-down system; this fit perfectly!"

Great Price, Good Product

"I had a little trepidation as I opened the box of my delivered Extang Classic Platinum Tonneau Cover. I've never had one before, and had no idea what to expect. As it turned out, installation was very easy with the simple instructions. No drilling, no measuring, just snap into place, add & tighten the clamps with the provided tool, add the ribs, and snap the tonneau on. Very very cool. My only quibble is that on my truck, the front part of the tonneau that hooks under the frame tends to want to come a little loose. This may be fixable by reversing the direction of the snaps as illustrated in the instructions. No big deal, and the cover looks and works just fine. For about $200, I think that this is a very good value and perfect for those of us who are not die-hard do it yourselfers."
