"I was replacing an existing snap cover with the Extang RT. The fit and finish is very nice, it took me maybe 35 minutes to install onto the truck. Instructions were very straight forward, and it integrates nicely with the Tacoma's built in track system and over-the-rail liner. As advertised, no cutting or drilling required. It's an extremely low profile cover that gives a very clean look and it's very easy for one person to roll it up."

"I purchased the Extang RT to replace a bi-fold cover, that always had to be removed when I towed our fifth wheel camper. What a drag! We would grunt and tug to get it in the "basement" of the camper, or just leave it at home. This low profile, roll up type, should be a bit easier, but it's too soon to tell. It's a tough install, and I can't get it to look smooth like in the promo photos, but I suppose that'll come with practice. I think it will work better than the old one."

Best Value Out There

"I pull a 5th wheel and this cover is perfect for that. The mounting brackets do not extend very far above the truck bed rails so it does not decrease the bed rail to 5th wheel overhang by much. It also rolls up easily when towing and rolls out to cover the truck box when unhitched. It does billow a bit when going at high-way speeds, but then I probably need to adjust the tension somewhat. Auto Anything was great to deal with and delivered the cover as they stated."

"was shock how easey it was too install and it has rain three times and i have yet to see water in side truck bed.when i was insalling cover i had it on and off twice to be sure it was rihgt and was done in 40min.and the price was right. p.s. i am not the handiest person in the world and yet this was easy too install...."

"This is the first tonneau cover I have ever purchased. I like the ease in which it installed on my truck. The tension adjustment is ok too. The only thing I would add is another locking device on the other side. I bought this one because it rolls up. Now all I need to do is to get my bedliner sprayed now. It also adds a bit of destinction to my truck."

"Excellent quality and appearance. This cover is very simple to install and operate. I own a fifth wheel, quick access to the hitch is a must have. this cover unlatches and rolls up very neat and compact. It still allows a visual of the hitch when backing up to the fifth wheel for connection. Xtang has hit a home run with this one!"

"The cover fit is excellent. Installation was a snap. The exterior look is neat and clean. Roll-up procedure is fairly easy as is the roll-down. Cover is almost totally out of the way when completely rolled up. I would recommend this cover to my friends."

"I am very pleased with my new tonneau cover. It looks really good and installation was relatively easy. In my case, my bed rails did complicate the installation. It took a little more effort to get the rails straight and pulled down tight enough but I did finally succeed. Without the rails installation would have been a real breeze. I highly recommend this product (with or without rails)."

"It took me a few minuts to figure out how to install it but once I did it was very easy. It mounted on the rails the truck comes with from the factory so I was pleased from that. It looks great and I would recommended to everyone. It does not seem to provide 100% water seal but I would say its about 98% water sealed. I would have like to have better information regarding the side rails from the tonneau. I did not know if I was supposed to flush them agains the tailgate or the front of the bed. Other than this the price was the best available from everywhere I looked."

"I love how Flushed it is to the bed. It only took about 45 minutes to install and it looks great. THE BAD: 1) Side brakets will interfere with the bed extender if you have the utility track system. 2) Its NOT completely water proof. You get a little water leak on the tailgate sides."

"Easy install (20 min.) Easy to open and close. Able to use partial open or fully open. Hint: Install rails with gate closed. Close the tailgate after closing cover, will make a better seal. Doesn't look smooth like picture.If you pull it to tight will make lock very difficult to unlock."
