"Installation was snap. Keeps bed dry. Frame fit ok, but not square. Not as tight as I would have liked. The forth clamp and bow that came with the long bed cover which sells for the same price would have helped in the area. The "rotating tail rail" is mis-leading because the fine adjustment are negligible."

"This tonneau cover not only is easy to install but it is very nice looking on the back of my truck. I also like the fact I don't have to connect a bunch of snaps. It's a great cover."

"Extang has outdone itself with the tuff III. I have used several others including other extang covers & the tuff III is worth it's weight in gold!!! I can't wait to buy another truck so I can get another one. The cover is very high quality vinyl & the snap less attachment is awesome. The tail section lifts out with an ease of 2 thumbs. Buy one today, you will be glad you did."

"I am very pleased with the Extang Tuff Tonneau III Cover. It installed on my truck in about 25 minutes with no drilling. It looks good fits good and seems to be tough enough to stay that way for a while. If i had another truck, i would get one for that. Thanks CEC III."

Easy Installation

"This cover was a breeze to put on my new pickup. Had it in place easily within about 1/2 hour by myself. Snap the frame together, lay it in place, square it up, use the extra foam provided to fill gap on each side of the tailgate protector, and clamp it down. That is all there is to it. The cover is a little hard to stretch and seal the first time, but certainly not something requiring assistance. The cover works fine after being in place for a short time. The cover withstands extensive travel at highway speeds and stays completely sealed. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to others."

LOOKS GREAT,SLEEK PROFILE, AND THE TEXTURED TONNEAU COVER GIVES IT A LEATHER LOOK. "went on easily with no cutting of the factory bed liner. Stays tight and the sides don't come loose, only thing i don't like is the back end near tailgate bounces and flaps around at highway speeds"

"the cover bows in between center and tail support at 40 mph at 70 mph it gets really bad I think it needs another bow,water may collect and collapse Extang has not responed same concerns with warrany reg."

"I was pleased with the cover but I have one problem and one question. The problem I am missing a screw that you screw the clamps down with. The question is when driving down the road the wind pushed the cover in and leaves a big dip in the cover. Is the cover installed correctly? I was thinking if a person can stand on the cover that it would be tight enough to stay flat during travel."

"I like it very much, and all the features. Although, I have noticed that when it rains, the front of it leaks water in the bed of the truck. I don't know if this is something that a simple adjustment can take care of or not, but I am going to try and move it a little more forward and see if that helps, other than that, it is an awesome product."

Almost but not quite

"Easy installation. The day I installed the cover it rained very hard. No leaks, however, the cover held several gallons of water pooled between the ribs. While driving the cover flaps considerably and caused the bar at the back to drop out of its slot. Sorry but I am a little disappointed. I worry about winter in this part of the country. Lots of snow and weight on the cover means further stretching and pooling of water. Frame and cover material are of good quality. Proper fit seems to be my problem."

"This is my second Tuff Tonneau. I had one on the Dodge Ram I owned before My Silverado. Easy to install, no problem in carwashes, easy to roll up, and looks great. The fit around the tailgate could be a little better on the new design Silverado. I had to use a few pieces of the foam provided to raise the rails toward the rear so the tailgate would clear under the tonneau rail. Its not leaking though and works fine."
