"Well I received the cover the day before I left town for a long trip. I had time to install it but not test it before I left. I was on the road for 5 days, put on 1500 miles without one problem. The installation took a little longer than the 15 minutes I was told because I have a bed liner. I had to cut holes in the bed liner for the clamps. The directions say to cut a hole 1 1/2" x 3" long, this is not the case, 1 1/2" wide yes but the hole only has to be about 1 1/2" high as long as you cut below the bed rail. You don't need to cut a hole that goes to the top of the bed rail because it serves no purpose. Once installed the cover clips into place very quickly, the top rails are easily installed and removed as needed. Very nice for hiding what is in the bed but easily rolled back to haul larger items. The only thing that bugged me a little is how much it seems to flap up and down when driving, I can see it in the rearview mirror and I kept expecting it to fly off but it didn't. I guess its just something I have to get used to. All in all for the price I can't beat it, it does just what I wanted it to do. The Maxseal tailgate seal is cool, haven't had a chance to test it but it seems to work and installs quickly."

"Second one I've purchased one for a 2007 Colorado and one for my F350 short bed. Easy to install, easy to use. I used one for an entire winter with no problems getting it closed on the coldest days. I rate it a 5."

"I am impressed with how this product is designed, and its ease of installation. The only problem was a 10-inch area of the tarp seam on the side that didn't get stitched and came loose slightly during a long trip - probably a rare, exceptional defect rather than the rule :)"

"Super easy to install, however it can be tough to roll up by yourself when you want to haul stuff. Looks great, keeps every thing dry, I have yet to see if it has increased my MPG but we'll see. Overall this is a great product for the price."

"Nice overall fit - looks great - no leaks. Was making noise when I first installed it - discovered it was too close to cab. Loosened clamps, moved it back and it is fine now. Very quick delivery."

"I was very pleased with the cover from Extang although, is not the first Extang cover I have had. So I had an idea of what to expect. I guess that’s why I am a repeat customer you can’t beat the quality for the price. Overall the instillation was easy although, on my F250 long box you have to pay attention to the bed rail clamps. The last two clamps closest to the tailgate are smaller then the other 6. I guess it would have helped to read the instructions prior to miss matching the clamps. After I figured that out the instillation was a breeze."

"I am 76 years old and this was extaordinarily easy to assemble and install. The assembly instructions were explained with precision accuracy. It is tight and there is no flap at high speeds. I have access to the rear of the bed without having to undo the top by just dropping the tail gate. A wonderful quality product for a very reasonable price. Thanks again for a great experience."

"The Extang Tuff Tonneau III is a surprisingly good fit in the Tacoma. The 2007 models have a different bed design with the top rails at different heights. The Extang cover is designed for this and fit perfectly. The cross bars are very beefy and the spring loaded design makes a nice snug fit. This cover is an excellent value in price, quality and ease of installation. Only one tiny drawback...The Velcro strap at the cab for holding the rolled cover is a little too short and creeps between the cab and bed. The appearance is excellent. "The clamps fit closer to the bed rails at the cab end than at the tailgate end. I haven't determined if my bed is trapazoidal or if the tonneau frame is not square. Anyway, I went on a 3000 mile trip right after installation. I could see the cover flapping a bit in my rearview, but did not notice any excessive noise. I drove through some heavy rain and the cargo stayed nice & dry."

"appearence was good, installation was easy, material is thin, worried about wind damamge on the back part. tarp flops around alot and sinks in the back on the highway. hope the warranty covers all this if it get ripped in half."

"THE COVER WAS FOR MY 16 YR OLD SON'S FIRST TRUCK. HE HAS AIRBAGS SO WE NEEDED TO COVER ALL THE PARTS AND KEEP A NICE CLEAN LOOK. MY SON AND HUSBAND HAD THE COVER IN PLACE WITHIN 30MIN. "The cover i got was so easy to Install a cave man could do it. It took about 20 min's for me and one of my Employee's to Install it. and it is working very well & makes my truck look good. The week i Installed it i took a trip of about 1000 miles and i could not believe how much it saved me on gas."
