Displeased

"I have owned an extang cover before and was very pleased. This cover was to come with spring loaded bows to make it an ease to put on the truck. My three bows have no springs which requires me to use a screwdriver to pry the ends out to make them fit. If you place the bows in the lower slots at highway speeds the wind catches the third bow giving you a duck tail look on the back. The instructions were not clear as to how to tighten the cover. When it gets warm the cover is loose on the lower bow points causing it to flap at highway speeds. I have an email into customer service and will see what their solution may be. Overall the cover looks good and has kept the bed dry inside."

"Looks good on my 06 f150,shiney leather look,ribs don't look bad,would'nt work well with out them.bed is dry after hard rain,for the money and looks can't beat it,simple assy.Ordered all items from autoanything could not beat there prices,The FORD dealer was going to use them also for custom parts.A-1 company"

"The cover does its job and appears to be solid. Two gripes I have is that the bars make unactractive creases in the covers appearance and it is impossible to put the cover on in the winter without warming it up inside first."

"I order the Extang tuff tonneau III cover for my husband and he installed it to his 2005 Nissan frontier and he was very please. The product fit so good and perfect and so easy to installed. Im very happy with the product and valued is excellent thank you very much for a wonderful product."

Nice Tonneau

"This is definitely a nice looking tonneau. It wasn't hard to install but if you're a perfectionist like me it can take some time to get just right. It increased my gas mileage 2 mpg. Should pay for itself in a year. The only negative is the "roll snap" tail gate piece doesn't line up exactly perfect and is somewhat cumbersome to use."

"Extang Tuff Tonneau III Cover was purchased as a gift for my son. We installed it in less than 1/2 hour. Very easy to do, fits very nicely and really looks good. Installation system makes for a simple install. I recommend it for nice looking add to your truck."

"Ordering was simple, delivery was prompt, installation was easy, and looks great. Took our SporTrac on a long distance trip at freeway speeds and didn't have any trouble - nothing came loose, weather resistant - great performance. Very satisfied - great price!"

"I have a drop in bedliner that I had to install the cover over, so I was a little concerned about the fit. The instructions were clear and after the few extra steps ( cutting space for the clamps)the cover fit perfectly! In fact, where the plastic bedliner had been a little "wavy" over the top edge of the bed, the sturdy rails straightened those areas right out. It has since rained, and I have since driven in heavy rains and have not seen any moisture leakage into the bed. Very good quality product the fit is exact. In my case, The tailgate had a little gap due to the thickness of the bedliner over the edge of the bed, but a small run of weatherstripping closed that gap and I can still open the tailgate without renoving the cover, a great feature. I'm impressed. Rhanks."

Heat does wonders to stretch the cover......

"I had a little trouble getting the cover on in the cold at first until learning the heat up the bed and cover with a space heater trick. It would have been nice if that were in the instructions in some kind of troublshooting notation. Excellent response in replacing one bad clamp - I had the piece within a couple of days of calling, even right before Thanksgiving. Overall, I am very pleased so far."

"It fits my 04 Titan crew cab with the utili-trac system perfectly. It seems to be nearly waterproof, was easy to install, everything, including hardware, are nicely made and thought out. Definitely a great cover!"

Easy installation

"The installation was easy (less than 30 minutes). This is my second Extang cover and hopefully it will be as reliable as the first. My only concern is that the 2005 Ford F-150 has a lower cab rail vs. the side rail and even with the extra foam padding supplied by Extang, there is still an 1/8" gap between the truck rail and the cover rail."

Tuff Tonneau on Tacoma

"Went on fairly easily although it did take longer than expected. The rear piece must be perfectly centered in order to fully engage the "zipper action" on both sides. It is difficult to install in colder weather even after repetitive use. I gues that's not surprising."
