"Better then I thought it would be. Easy to install, Looks great. I have been asked where I got it so cheap. New orders will be coming. I had to call the company because I did not recieve the FREE Maxseal Tail gate kit with my order. But they did send it 10 days after I called them."

"Been promising my daughter I would replace her cover for 2 years, finally did it this year. This is the second Extang I've installed. (first was on a Chevy Colorado) Learn something every time. Installation is a snap, fit was great and my daughter was quite pleased with ease of operation. Far better than the old snap-on cover and looks better. Factory bed-rails allow a no problem install and everything fit to a "T"."

"The Extang Tuff Tonneau III has proven to be exactly as advertised. I recently took a trip through the mountains, approximately 1200 miles roundtrip, and experienced no problems. Our luggage stayed dry through some heavy rain. One of the guys didn't even put his hanging clothes in a bag and they were perfect when we arrived. Installation was complete in 30 minutes. I installed by myself and this was the first tonneau cover that I ever installed. The instructions were great."

"This is my second Extang Tuff III, I had one on a 2004 F-150 SuperCrew. That one had metal connection corners and this newer one has Plastic.
This was a bit of a disappointment. I don't expect them to hold up to a cold winter.
Fit was great, the cover itself is heavy duty, installation took 10 minutes.
We shall see how well it works as the weather gets colder.."

"My cover arrived on Friday and we managed to get in on Saturday and then we packed up and evacuated. We are working in New Orleans and Gustav hit New Orleans Sunday. So when the covered arrived just in time to keep all my personal belongings dry and secure. It looks great and the pop a lock worked great also. We had to drive to Charlotte, NC from New Orleans when we evacuated and I never felt more secure with my new cover on my truck. Thanks"

"is not always better. Have had two previous "snap" Extang covers and they seem to fit tighter, not flop in the wind as much as this new style does. Putting it on was easier, rolling it up was easier and neater as this style has the harder plastic stops that do not roll well. Will go back to orginal style when I replace truck!"

"This is the third truck and my second ETTIII cover. The last one was still very usable and in very good shape. It had 4 years of living in the South Texas climate...HOT HOT and Sunny. Over 100,000miles of use and very little wear due to buffetting of the wind at highway speeds. Kept stuff in the bed pretty dry even in the worse rain and carwash enviroments.

"The fit was fine. It does stick up above the bed rails as expected, but it does seem a little high.
So far it has proven to keep out the water even in the Florida torrential downpours at high speed.
Installation with a full bedliner requires cutting pockets into the liner for the clamps. I used a utility knife to good effect.
The cover does seem a little loose and is pushed down pretty far at speeds above 50mph. I have run 3 full fuel tanks and show 0 improvement in fuel economy. However, I bought this cover to keep my gear dry and the snow out of my bed during winter."

"The ease of installation was awesome. I was able to install the frame on the truck and have the cover secured in about 30 minutes. The only issue with installation I had was the distance between the cover and the rear window seal. Once I repositioned the frmae rail it was fine. The main reason for this cover was for show. I really don't haul thing's in my truck so I can't comment on the rollup feature of this cover.
I did experience a blem cover. The area was about the size of a piece of rice. The cover was replace in a couple of days. Autoanything is a great company to deal with. Customer service is top notch. I would recommend both cover and company To anyone in need of any truck parts, Autoanything is the best way to go."

"The cover looks great when I am not going down the road at 55mph or higher. This is my first cover, so it might be norm, but at those speeds it colapses, or has a sagging effect due to the air stream. It seems that the cover is too loose, but if it is made any tighter, putting it on may be too difficult. Maybe using a material that 'gives' less or stretches less. Just a suggestion. Despite everything I have said, I really do like this cover, but it could be improved."

"I have a factory bedliner on my 2008 Toyota Tacoma. So, I did not have full rail width to attach the clamps securing the exterior rail square around the bed. One clamp keeps coming loose. I have to keep an eye on it. I had to also move the curved cross member (closest to the tailgate) back toward the center cross member by six inches. The wind deflected over the top of my cab and onto the cover created a deep bow in the cover at 70 mph. I have the entire cover adjusted to my liking and not having trouble with it except for that one clamp. I might order a replacement clamp. I bought the cover to save on gas. I now notice many other trucks in my area (Waco, Texas) also have new covers apparently for the same reason as me - gas savings. I recommend this cover. I am happy with it and would buy another one. It is a good, strong cover!"
