"This is my fourth or fifth Extang tonneau cover. I get one whenever I get a new pickup. I had no problems putting it on by myself in about an hour. The reason I didn't give an excellent for appearance is that this cover shows some slight bumps along the edges at the front corners ot the cover. All previous covers fit better in this area. It could be operator error, but I've not had the problem before and have done a number of these installations"

"I was worried when ordering the cover that it would be difficult to install with the specialized tie-down rails on the Toyota Tacoma. However I was amazed at how simple it was to install and had the correct clamps to mount the side rails. It took me about 20 minutes install it and was ready to go. The cover opens and closes so easily and has increased my gas mileage dramatically. My only concern is the stretch of the cover between the 2nd and 3rd rail. The wind pushes down on that area the most, so the cover may stretch over time. I will have to wait and see. Right now, I am very happy with the cover."

"Great product! Had one on my Tacoma and missed it when I stepped up to the Tundra. In terms of convenience and cost this beats a fiberlass or plastic lid hands down. You just roll it up and go."

"instructions for installation could have been more helpful. the frame assembly was a little confusing. the cover itself was very difficult to put on. have not taken it off yet, but it is probably stretched out and will be easier to put on. defenitely would recommend the purchase of this cover. very prompt delivery."

"This tonneau is great. It's perfect for my 08 Toyota Tacoma regular bed. I give it an overall rating of Good instead of excellent because when I drive on the freeway, the air gets in under it and it blows up a little. Also the dimension for clamping down the frame is perfect at the head of the bed, but incorrect at the center and tail clamps. In other words, I could clamp the frame down, but could not get the clamp to snuggly fix into the rail of the truck bed. But this could be a problem with the toyota bed and not the tonneau. L. "

"The cover came and it was a bit confusing because it came with only two long top clamps and 4 short top clamps. I have the bed rail system so I had to use the optional clamps. Overall the cover is nice and the system was easy to install but the cover is very lose and looks like crap when I am driving. Since the system only came with two long top clamps I could not extend the rails out any and I have the cross bars on the top lip. Compared to the snap system though the design is much nice but the cover is not near as tight as the last Extand cover i had with snaps. Disappointed but living with it. Not sure there is anything that can be done."

"I dont know if the one i got was goofed up, but when you roll up the cover it releases the tension that holds it on and there is nothing keeping the cover from flying off. I had to get some spare straps and clips to keep it on."

"I really have'nt had my cover long enough to rate it honestly. So far though it's been great. I have a carpet insert in my box instead of plastic. I was a little worried about it getting wet. We've had some pretty good downpours since i installed the cover. I'm pleased to say not one drop of water entered the box. The only thing i'm a little skepticle about are the latches. They seem a little weak. Hav'nt had to use them yet. We'll see. Overall, for the money you can't go wrong. P.S. I had a cap on my truck. Mpg's went way up."

"Cover installation was a snap. 30 minutes by myself. Tailgate seal requires a little more work to get it just right. Recommend you score the tape covering to give little spots to test adhere before removing and placing. Once it sticks to something, it's pretty much there. Cover looks great on my truck. Used it the very next day for a 500+ mile trip to FL from GA (75mph). Worked like a champ! Has rained a few times since arriving. Bed is completely dry. For the price, you just can't beat it!"

"Very easy to install,Installed on a gmc fullsize pu. The only thing I would recomend is a 4th bar, 3 is not enough to keep it from flaping when driving becuase of the size of the bed. I have had alot of pick-ups and this is the best cover I found so far. Sincerely, GMC in VERMONT"

"This cover is pretty durable and the hardware is of a heavier quality than I expected. I am concerned about getting the cover back on in cold weather, it was VERY tough getting it on the first time. This hopefully will change as the cover "breaks" in. The cover does not come flush with outside of the box which I feel it should for better looks. For a sort cover it will do what is expected.
