"I like this product. It was shipped promptly, easy to install and it looks great on my truck. My Tuff Tonneau cover does NOT flap at high speeds… However, I will not recommend you stand on it like the picture shows, not if you have a healthy weight of over 120lbs"

problem with installation

"The mounting bolts seem to be too long to tighten down enough to completely seal the cover to the bed. Two of the bolts were cross-threaded so I had to scrounge around to find some screws that would match the threads. The phillips head screws I used were shorter and tightened down very well(and are easier than allen heads). I also had to find some lock washers because the heads of the bolts were too small and actually pulled into the holes in the mounting brackets and wouldn't hold them securely. The installation instructions are also vague. However, after finding everything I needed to complete installation I'm very satisfied with the look and function of the cover. Very easy to open and close. Nice clean look."

"This was a good cover for the price. It makes my truck look a lot better. I haven't had it long enough to tell if the gas milage was affected, but either way I like it. Fitment was good and it took me about an hour to install. Nice cover."

"Should me more shaped to bit the contour of the Tundra truck sides and maybe tighten the distance front to back so it does not bow of flap other than that I think its a awesome cover"

"Before buying this cover I read a lot of the reviews on the website. I took note of how some people had to warm up the cover with a hair Dryer when installing it on a chilly day. Well, I found out why when I tried to put it on in 50 degree weather. This cover fits so tight that I could not streach the fabric over the rails without doing the same thing, heating the cover with a hair dryer. It worked marvelously! I am very pleased with how the cover looks on my Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4X4. As for the "flapping in the breeze", as I have read it does, I have no problems at all in this area. I am very happy with this cover."

"Strange to see the box is tappered after having so many old boxes on trucks that were parallel. When installing, just focus on the outside of the fender to get it parallel and square and forget the inside edges. Once you get past this, it looks great."

"Overall, I like the tonno cover. Had 1 problem with installation that rear tailgate rail was cut too long and had to get a replacement. This replacement rail worked fine."

"Excetional value. Installation was easy but you should install when temperature is above 65 degrees otherwise the vinyl hold-down is a bit difficult to insert in the track. The rail clamps fit perfectly in the tie-down rails of the truck bed. The tongue-in-groove construction gives a cleaner look than snaps or velcro. Also, AutoAnything had the best price and delivery was less than a week to go from California to Connecticut with no shipping cost."

"Good product. Easy to install, although I would advise customers to leave 1/4 inch between the toneau and the cab of the truck so it doesn't rub and make noise when driving. I like the appearance and the flexibility it gives me. Better than a hard toneau because I can roll it up and carry tall cargo."

"This cover was very easy to install compared with all the horror stories I had gotten from my friends about other styles. The Tail Gate piece is held in with plastic corner connectors both of which were cracked upon arrival however."

"To date I'm very happy with my Extang Tuff Tonneau III Cover. It looks great on my truck. Friends have told me how good it makes my truck look. "the extang cover is a great buy for the money the only thing i did not like about it is when you drive at 55-60 or above it really flaps pretty good i called the company they were really nice about it they knew what i was talking about and said it was normal for the roll up type cover but it is real easy to install....20 min. and to roll it up 5 min...it is a lot better with out the snaps to,fast and easy to take off."

"This cover is very nice. The cover took a little bit to get on because it was so tight. This is a good thing though, as you want it that way. The bed of my truck has been kept dry in the sloppy/rainy Minnesota spring. Looks good, and for a good price."

"I found that when I rolled it upthatthe VELCO staps could be longer and it rolls tighter if two people do it. I also marked all the bows as they don't fit the same in all positions. I wish that the little tabs you push to remove the end piece could be a little larger I'm afraid I might break them . Overall I really like it but I find it easier to use two people when rolling the cover on and off."
