"Great looking low profile. The integrated box fools even old pros. Fit is snug, secure and water-tight. Roll up is quick and easy. Definitely need two people for installation."

"Great. I love having a tool box integrated into a bed cover. the tool box is a lot bigger than it sounds. you can cram a lot in there. installation was easy but it is helpful if you have a second person. cover opens and closes super easy. very convenient."

"Everything came extremely fast and arrived in great condition. The instructions are a bit useless but it is easy enough to figure out on your own. The only problem I had with the item was that the locking mechanism was all messed up. It came in a seperate box which probably means it was made in a different place than the other parts. When trying to assemble the one part was to have threads in it and they had been ground out and also the lock place where the push button lock was welded wrong so it wouldn't line up on the toolbox. But I called the 800 number and they immediately sent out the locking mechanism, but I ahven't got it yet so we will see if it is any good. ut all in all it fits great and looks even better."

"The TruxedoPlus is just as advertised. The installation was just under an hour and fairly straightforward. The cover is fairly weathertight (just a little water in the toolbox and bed of truck after a high pressure wash and none after rains). The latching mechanism on the tool box lacks a little and requires paying special attention that it is secure before it opens at 70 on the interstate. Overall, no complaints, it covers the bed and is easy to roll up and down."

"The cover looks great and keeps out the elements well. Install went fairly easy ( 3 clamps provided for each side rail, I think it needs 4! Rail started to sag from road vibrations ). Overall, I'm please with the purchase and would recommend Truxedo products."

"I have previously had a Truxedo cover, and when I got a new GMC, instead of the OEM cover and tool box, I thought that I would get the Truxedo version. I was particularly interested in being able to access the tool box w/o opening the cover. While it looks and functions nicely, I was disappointed in the small size of the truck box. It also had a unexpected problem - I can no longer see the 5th Wheel hitch when I back up. While it is a nice product, I would think twice about ordering again."

"This is the ultimate toolbox & tonneau cover! Easy to install and looks great when it's done. I replaced a standard toolbox and a competitor's toolbox cover that leaked like a sieve. Some of the problem with the other one was the 'Professional Installation', however the Truxedo beats the other guys as far as workmanship and quality of product.
Wish I'd gone with this choice in the first place. Actually gained another mile to the gallon with the TruXedo Plus installed!"

"The installation was very easy and the instructions were good. You can the do the installation by yourself however lifting the box up into the bed without help is a little tricky.
The fit and finish is far superior to the stock Toyota cover that I purchased with the truck. The ability to open, close and roll up the cover is better than the stock cover.
The only concern I have is if I decide to install a TracRac the button to open the tool box might be blocked however Truxedo claims on their website this is not a problem."

"All in all unit is very user friendly, however I had a bit of trouble with locking mechanism due to primary latch that was installed was the wrong one.I installed the unit on 12/26/07 late in the afternoon & finished too late to contact Truxedo. I contacted Truxedo 12/27/07 early morning & discussed with rep. my problems. I also had both header stops break the first time I closed the cover , it was 35 deg.& parts are plastic. Parts arrived via US mail 12/29/07 .
So far I'm pleased with unit, just disappointed that a unit that is so expensive has a couple of poorly engineered parts in such a crittacle area.
Truxedo's lady Rep. was very courteous and understanding, and very helpful, would do business with them and you folks as well again.
Thank you
Happy New Year
Gary"

"I have a 2006 Dodge Dakota club cab and this tonneau cover with the built in tool box fit like a glove. Assembly took a little while by myself but it was relatively easy. The tool box is a good size, good quality and locks. It lays flush with the cover so there is no step to cause interrupted air flow and thus better gas consumption. The tonneau is of very good quality as well. I am very pleased and hope I will remain so over the ensuing years. Highly recommend this awesome duo."

"I am very pleased with the excellent customer service and with the ease of installation of this product (took about 1hour). It's sharp and gives my truck a classy look. The day after I installed it, I took it for a ride during a rain storm. No noise and very little waving. A day after that I opened the toolbox and found that some droplets of water got inside (Need to adjust and tighten lock latch). The other problem I had were the side rail clamps. Although they are quality made and very strong, I had trouble getting the side rails level. If not for those I would rate it 5 stars."

"Shortly after purchasingthis tonneau cover, Missouri was hit with a horrific rain, sleet, ice and snow storm. After several days of below zero temps, it warmed up a bit. finally the 2" thick ice that had formed on the cover, slid off with a little help from us! Everything inside the bed was safe and sound and the cover was in the same condition as when it was put on. Installation was simple and easy. thanks for a great product!"

"I wasn't really Sure about how this cover and toolbox attached from the pictures, it was hard to tell but it is inside the bedrails for both the box and the cover. Very pleased with my Purchase. I recommend getting a buddy to help with the install. Not difficult to put in but when holding things in place it is alway better to have another set of hands."

TruXedoPlus Toolbox Tonneau Cover

"I have just recently installed this cover. In the past I have used both snap on Tonneaus and fiberglass hardcovers. This was very easy to install, requiring no special tools or skills for that matter. The toolbox "floats" allowing a full sheet of plywood to slide underneath and the stake holes are not covered allowing the addition of a rack system. This seems to be an excellent product, far more versatile than a hard cover. The only question is how will it perform when its 10 below zero."

Great cover & tool box!!!!!

"I'm an EMT in NYC so I carry medical gear in my car. All of my gear fits in the tool box with extra room to spare, which I already took up. The tool box kept everything dry, even during the blizzard this past weekend. And the cover held the weight of snow over 2' high. I am VERY happy with it. If you always wanted a cover, a tool box, or both, then get this!!!! Its well worth it!"
