Canister for the cover to retract into takes se space from the front of your bed, if you plan to put an ATV in your bed I would not plan on being able to have it directly up against the canister either. I am happy with the overall water "proof ness". Car wash and rain showers will only allow a small amount of water in. I am concerned though that a spring wet snow that left 4" on the cover, as it melted there was water dripping through the cover practically everywhere. Operates perfect though

To start I find it hard to believe that proper instructions have not been included despite all of the reviews. The cover looks great but have wondered how long will it be before the spring tension in the canister goes bad. Definitely something to consider but in all, the cover is heavy duty and does give the truck a different appearance. I have come to realize that lubrication is a must if you plan to get a descent amount of life out of it. I would recommend it to anyone. Its a good product.

A good quality bed cover. The information says it will work with bed rails. This is partially true, depending on the type or style of bed rail. I had to saw off one end of the canister cover and reassemble and pop rivet it back together so it would fit between the Putco Rocker bed rails I have. I'm trying to get the company to send me the proper black pop rivets but no luck yet.

very sturdy and well built cover. I have a drop in bedliner so some cutting was necessary at the front to get the canister all the way forward and some additional trimming and tweeking needed to get the rails adjusted properly but the end result is perfect.

The Bak RollBak Tonneau Cover was very easy to install and looks great. It's easy to operate too. Only one problem on installation instructions, it wasn't clear that the mounting brackets at the front of the bed should be mounted flush rail protector that most trucks come with now. I installed flush to the front of the bed and now I have a gap which allow water in.

The install instructions for this were very vague and somewhat hard to follow. The canister came in its' own box with a seal and they never talked about where to put the seal, as well as having instructions in both boxes that didn't match each other. We found this video after the fact, but it is a good one in the event you plan on taking on the installation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xSK42Gh1cc The cover looks great and gives us great peace of mind.

Install was easy, with no significant drilling. All the parts lined up without much effort and lock in solidly. Strong, secure, doesn't take up much space, and looks good. I would recommend.
