Get a classic companion for your truck bed toolbox. The Extang Tool Box Tonneau Cover accommodates toolboxes between 18" and 21" deep. Boasting all-aluminum frame construction, The Extang Tool Box Tonneau uses nearly indestructible snaps and a heavy-duty leather grain black vinyl tarp to cover, store and protect your valuables while improving your gas mileage.

The Extang Tool Box Tonneau Cover employs an exclusive L-Channel for a tight seal and excellent drainage between your box and your cover. The adjustable snaps make using the Tool Box Tonneau easy in any climate condition.

The Tool Box Tonneau uses Extang's TuffKlamps for easy, no-drill installation to your truck bed. For carrying large loads, the Tool Box Tonneau features quick release cross bows and a one-hand removable tail rail.

Your Extang Tool Box Tonneau Cover is backed by a 10-year warranty on the tarp; the aluminum frame carries a Lifetime Warranty.

Notes

  • The Extang Toolbox Tonneau Cover will accommodate most plastic factory or non-factory Bed Caps and Bed Rails.
  • We cannot guarantee that the Toolbox Tonneau Cover will accommodate non-factory stainless steel Bed Caps and Bed Rails. Some modification may be necessary to install the Tonneau Cover.
  • Will not fit flipping bed extenders.
  • Provide measurements for non-standard size tool boxes and specify Custom-Cut version when ordering; Custom-Cut orders carry the same full warranty but are non-refundable

"Overall, very nice product. There is a gap between the L channel and bed; therefore, potential for water to enter. In fact, water did enter. I bought black caulk and applied to the truck bed into the gap. I have a 100% waterproof truck bed now. I really like this product. The bed rails are the best I have ever had in three tonneau covers. I highly reccomend this cover."

"The directions for assembly could have been a little more logically written. If the directions are complete read before assembly starts I don't think any problems will be encountered. If you jump right in and start assembling following the steps outlined in the directions you can easily make a mistake requiring you to disassemble and reassemble some parts. One of the side clips was not tapped deep enough to tighten it to the side rail of the truck with the screw provided. I had extra clips from my old Extang so it was not a problem. Other than those minor problems the tonneau cover is great and I recommend it to everyone. This was a custom manufactured one."

"I like the way it closes the gap or openining you have between the tool box and the tailgate. It also helps take some of the drag off while running down the road and does help with gas mileage. There is also times you put things back there you don't want getting wet or blown out.And then if you need it off roll back cover loosen four clamps and take off. Just as simple to put back on."

"Great cover. Ony took abot an hour to install. My only issue I have is that my tool box is a single lid with my latches on the back therefore I have to unsnap from one side to reach in and open the box."

"I recieved the shortbox cover, and it was missing a center support. I called, they sent a support. however it was to long, I had to modify it, not a problem. Now I am very happy with my Extang tool box cover."

"Dont like the way cover overlaps front L bracket causing the cover to life off the bed rail. The fix is bolt it down harder.(bending the cover support.)"

"Special ordered a Tool Box Tonneau. Fit perfectly. Only have one small complaint, the base board near the tool box raises the forward rails a bit so that it is not exactly flat with the side. Other than that, it is a very good piece of equipment for the truck. Looks great and is functional. We will see if it raises the fuel economy..."

Missing Parts Prevent Installation

"My tonneau from Extang arrived timely about two weeks ago and had two right side frame sections and no left side frame section. I am still waiting for the missing part from Extang. I called them after the first week and was told it would ship "tomorrow" via FedEx. Meanwhile after another week, I have paid in full, yet have receiveth not. I hope the Extang Tonneau will be worth this added aggravation."

"the cover went together easy and fits pretty well. There is a small gap near the tool box and it has slight leaks in that area. The cover seems to work pretty well other wise and keeps the cargo dry for the most part."
