"We had a short wait to receive our cover. But after receiving it, it was out of the box and on in less than half an hour. We were missing an adjustment screw but they got that to us in about 3 days. Since we started using it we have had no problems and would be lost without it now , i have the long bed with tool box"

"The cover is nice. Easy to install and use. My only complaint is that it did not reach all the way forward to my truck box. I have a standard size box, yet there is a gap of about 1 1/2" which obsiously allows water to enter. It will still surve its purpose for me, but I would expect the cover to cover the whole bed."

"It went on very easy. All of the hardware is of good quality. Cover fits snug on the truck and does not flap around. Being able to adjust the tension is a big plus! I would suggest this cover to anyone with a toolbox."

2002 Z71 Extang cover install

"I had trouble getting the back latch to latch and found I needed to move the left side back a little to match the right side for distance to the tailgate. I had to cut a little plastic off the tailgate edge cover.Once I got that done it latched and tightened up the cover. The instructions should say something about protecting the metal piece on the front of the cover from the drill chuck when drilling through it into the toolbox. It got scraped from the chuck while drilling. All in All I am happy with it. Ed"

"Really like the flush look. Leaves enough of your bedrails to install side rails or bars. However for my 6 1/2 ft. '06 GMC bed, the cover does not fit from tailgate to toolbox. Once you get it fitted properly at the tailgate end, you have to use the "L" bracket as a spacer to fill the gap at the toolbox end, making its watertightness a bit less than ideal."

"After looking at many different covers, I am more than satisfied that I made the right choice with this one. Sharp in both form and functions, and installation was a snap. Only con is that delivery took over 2 weeks, but since it was free shipping, I can't really complain."

"great product. just as good in real life as the photos, although the cap on top of the tailgait does not come with it. The leaking behind the tool box can be completely cured by placing a strip of foam between the bed cap and the cover beneath the L-channel when installing.extang has a customer for life now."

"This cover is really easy to install. It fits, functions, and looks good on my truck.I love the fact that with this design you can have an open truck bed in less than a minute. The only issue you may have is when you drill the holes into your truck box to mount the straps for the cover. I had to work around the locking device on my box. Not much of an issue really, just something to be aware of."

"This is the first tonneau cover I've ever installed on a truck and I'm more than satisfied with the ease of installation and the appearance. I had to cut away part of the factory installed Duraliner like railgaurds on the bed rails so the cover would fit snug. Other than that, installation was pretty straight forward and would have taken about a half hour. The tonneau cover fits nice and looks great on my truck."

OK product

"Not quite as good as the hype. Easy install. Driver's rail is still a little canted making the latch hard to engage- even with the supplied rubber spacers installed. So to close the cover, I have to lift up on the rail with one and hand and force the top down into the latch. Once latched, it's a good cover. Not waterproof though- rain finds ways to seep into the bed and get unprotected stuff wet on the bottom."

Cover works great

"The cover installed pretty easy but an extra set of hands will hasten the install. It funtions very well. I didn't like the way the molding part that goes against the tool box worked, so I opted not to install it. Cover looks and works great. Short of sitting still in a monsoon, the bed stays very dry. It rolls up in a flash and takes about 30 seconds to roll back out and secure. It is a good product and I would recommend it to others. My install was on a 07 Chevy 2500HD crew with SB. The tool box is a Weather Guard(recommend the side type latches for use w/ the cover)."

Big improvement

"I'm very happy with this tonneau cover. I was worried the size would not be exact but was perfect. The only problem I had was I purchasd my tool box first so when I installed the cover it was soon evident the latches on the tool box were coverd by the cover. But I wanted this low look so I put together a lever to pull just inside the tail gait with a cable attached to the latch inside the tool box."

Low profile toolbox requires modification

"The Extang RT cover was as advertised and the actual installation of the cover was simple. However, since I had a low profile toolbox I had to raise the box in order to access the latches which would have been below the tonneau cover. A little over 30 minutes to install the cover but 3 hours to raise the box."
