Directions need help....

"Product is great. Looks very nice on my truck. Directions leave much to be desired however. Took about an hour to install. Would have been half that if the directions were even close to helpful. As others have said, they should supply more weather stripping. They could double the amount they give you and it would cost them an extra nickel or so. Why be so stingy? I just used leftover from the tailgate seal, but seems crazy that they dont give a little extra. Would buy again even with the reported issues. Minor inconveniences for a product that feels well made and looks great. Price was very good."

"Installed easily, took about an hour to get it installed and lined up the way I wanted it. Compared to 20 minutes(what the instructions said)...it came with the free tailgate seal but I had to go to the local auto parts and buy weather seal because the stock bed caps on the sides caused my cover to stand up about a 1/4" higher and this caused a opening in the bed between the rear glass and the cover, but besides that I'm happy with my purchase."

"The cover was very easy to install and fits very well on my 05 chevy. However, you do need weather stripping to seal the front, I think this should be included but overall a very good cover for the price."

"Easy to install and fits nice. Looks great and holds up to 70+mph on the highway. Have not applied the free tailgate seal yet - waiting on warmer weather and my spray in liner. UPS damaged the box and it arrived with one of the latches missing - Truxedo replaced the missing parts no questions asked and I had them in less than 3 days. Great product and great customer service."

"I found the instructions to be fairly straight forward and the materials to be high quality. Installation was quick as advertised and the cover has so far been 100% waterproof. Roll straps sometimes flap in the wind."

"Honestly, the whole time installing this cover, I was waiting for the tricky step, or the part of the instructions that read like stereo instructions, but it didn't happen. Easy to install, easy to use. Onle down side is that the part where the cover and the cab part of the bed top meet it is spaced and not water tight as the sides raise it up. Need to get piece of weather seal to run it across the front part, otherwise real great product. Dad has same truck and is ordering same thing!"

"If you own the 2006 GMC canyon crew cab and got the factory bed liner, the tail gate top protector is a bit to high to clear this product. We used a brand new fine blade on the table saw and just removed the lip of the tailgate cover off the truck."

"Good cover for the price, took a little more time to install than advertised. Not sure if the locking clips are going to last. Already had to order a new end plug for tailgate cover. Service was great though, John from sales was knowledgable and very professional."

"Received the Truxedo cover much sooner than expected. The cover was a breeze to install, directions were very easy to read and understand. So far it has been completely water proof and looks exceptional on the truck. The free tail gate seal was just an added bonus with this great cover.If your looking for a decent priced cover that has the looks, this is the one !!"

2007 RAM 1500 Short Bed

"The cover was quick and easy to install but if you have the tailgate with the spoiler on it you may have trouble with the fit. I had to move the cover as far forward as I could and loosen the bed clamps a little to get it to function with the tailgate."

"This is not a bad tonneau cover. I like the fact that it is actually locked when the tailgate is closed. The seal isn't that great but it does help. The velcro is nice because you don't have to fight with snaps in the cold or anytime for that matter."

"The fit could be better, sits too high off the sides of the bed. Also the locking mechanism could be better. I like the ones that you have a cable to pull on to release the locking of the cover."
