"The Truxedo Truxport Tonneau cover looks great on my 2005
Ford F250 Crew Cab. It was easy to install but I did have to put some weather stripping at the front due to the rail protectors on my truck. Also the clamps did have to be tightened after driving the vehicle. I did have a problem with my shipment. The package arrived damaged and the
clamps and instructions were missing. I called Shurco
directly about the missing parts (this is what the packing list said to do). The lady I talked to was very courteous and I received the parts in just a few days. I would recommend this cover to anyone wanting a less expensive alternative to the hard covers."

"Nice product. Good experience with the order; however, I asked before purchasing this tonneau cover if it would fit a truck with rails and was told it would. Well, it doesn't. I had to remove my rails, which I wasn't very please about. Other than that, very satisfied with product and service."

"Overall I am very pleased with the quality and cost of the cover. The manufacturer needs to improve the weatherstripping on the front of the bed. having side caps raises the cover that much higher that you need to add weather proofing in the front. I would recommend."

"I've installed Truxedo cove r and it does a very fine job. I was a little disappointed in the fit though, in order to get the rubber seal to sit over the tailgate, I had to bring the cover back, not leaving a real good coverage in the front. I am satisfied with the appearance and the fastening system on it."

"It was a pleasure dealing with this company. Delivered on time with all required components in the box. It took a little longer than the average times stated for two of us to install the cover. It's a nice tight cover and is easy to roll and unroll. My only suggestion is to improve the straps that secure it at the bulkhead. Kind of difficult fishing out the Velcro to secure the straps. A buckle of some type would be helpful. Overall, good cover at a reasonable price - will order again from this company."

Cheap, slick looking upgrade for looks and security

"Shipped on time, packed well. This was the easiest upgrade ever. Total time spent from opening the box to admiring the finished product: 33 minutes (solo). Instructions are clear and simple. I didn't have to adjust springs/tension at all. 6 aluminum clamps (3 ea side) hold the rails on TOP of the bed rails (not inside them). I used an adjustable wrench to tighten them down. Included cross bars were already loaded into their sleeves. So far it's great with 3" of snow on it - rolls up fine in 20 degree weather and the velcro sides retain their hold... Looks great and fits over my in bed tool chest - again b/c the tonneau cover rails mount on TOP of the existing bed rails. I recommend."

TruXport Roll-Up Tonneau Cover Review

"I purchased the TruXport for a Christmas present for my son. I loves it. It was easy to install and the attached cross bars and the tensioning mechanism prove the features and benefits of a much higher priced unit. I have another brand cover on my truck, the TruXport is much better product."

Nice cover for my 07 Frontier

"Very nice cover overall... only two things keeping it form being 5 stars:
First thing is that you have to use a wrench to install adn remove the clamps(my Mopar cover on my 2003 Ram had hand operated cam locks on the clamps).
The other thing is that my Frontier has factory bed rail covers, therefore i had to purchase and install some additional weather stripping to seal up the front rail.
But overall this cover is very good. It works well with the utility rail system in my Frontier. I like that the braces roll up in the cover and I also really like the locking feature. With my frontier I can lock the tailgate and someone would have to pretty much cut away the cover to gain access to the bed."

Not sure about this product...

"Install was easier than anticipated based on other reviews. Unfortunately product was damaged in shipping, resuling in a dime-size hole in the middle of the cover. AutoAnything was responsive and offered thru manufacturer the option of either full replacement (requiring removal of newly installed cover and frame), or "simple" replacement of only the cover. I chose replacement of only the cover. However, when it arrived the instructions indicated need for removal of entire frame anyway, and then I have to thread the new cover back into the frame channels and reinstall back on the truck. I have not attempted this yet due to the cold weather - I'm afraid of breaking it as the plastic joints and latches seem to be brittle when it is cold. The plastic tailgate latches have already begun to chip away from only 2-3x use, so not sure will continue to latch closed after continued use. Lastly, I cannot seem to tighten cover sufficiently to prevent water from collecting on it. Unlike covers with bowed crossmembers, it appears to cause snow to pile up and water to puddle on it. It does look nice on my truck, though."

"Like others have said, needs more weatherstrip in the corners. For some odd reason it doesn't stay as tight as some of my friend's access covers, flaps around a bit more than I expected even at low speeds. For the price though I'd say it does the job."

"The product was everything it was said to be. Only one problem with the directions; the socket needed was a 12mm, not a 1/2" as indicated. Only modifications I made, was to add a flat and lock washer to the mounting bracket bolts. This made tightening easier and insured thier positioning.Service from AutoAnything was exceptional. Order process and shipping was right on the money. Ordered on Monday, installed on the truck:Friday.Great Job!!!!"

"I feel this a is a great roll up cover for the money. It was very easy to install.I had a bed liner that wrapped over the front of the box which I had to cut down to make everything level. I'm still debating about cuting down the tail gate liner as it causes the rear of the tonneau to raise slightly when closing the tail gate. I do recomend, after the first drive to recheck the tightness on the brackets that hold the rails on. A couple of mine had come loose."

Truxedo TruXport, great cover for the money.

"Order was shipped quick from AutoAnything with no problems on arrival. Fairly easy install, but it does help to have a second person on hand to hold things steady while tightening things up. Cover works very well and opens/ closes easily. Also very easy to adjust tension via the wheel on both sides.
Only negative things would be the tailgate corner seals don't really seal. You need to add an additional layer to seal it completely. Also, it would help if Truxedo would tell you how much to tighten the clamps. I worried about overtightening and mine are probably a little tighter than they should be, but it won't be going anywhere.
Overall a great cover. Fit and finish were perfect."

"The cover is a trial and error postion and had to be moved rearward of the instructions to get any type of tailgate seal. You could explain that not all beds will fit the same and postioning is variable depending on the model being fitted. The rest of the installation was well explained."
