"The Truxedo is a great buy for those on a low budget. The topper works out great for me and does everything i expected. However there are some minor problems. The frame could use some minor adjustments to fit the truck bed a little better and the weather strips on the four corners do not go all the way to the metal leaving a 1/4 inch gap at all four corners. Other than that I've had no problems and I am satisfied with this product"

"I have owned roll-up, snap and snapless covers before and this Truxedo is easily the best. Great fit, easy instructions and great quality at a good price, what else is there. The instructions told me to use additional weatherstriping on the front and I assembled the entire thing in about 20 minutes by myself. GREAT PRODUCT!"

Spend the extra for the Access roll-up

"I wanted a roll-up cover. I knew the access was a great cover for I had one on my last truck. This cover is ok, but it has less quality than the access, and if I had to purchase another one I would go for the access."

"Being a mechanically DECLINED person, I'm always suspicious when something says "Easy to install". This cover was very easy to install and fit perfectly. Having the bows roll up with the cover is a great feature. Two days after I installed the cover, we got a snow and ice storm. There was a very heavy accumulation of weight on the cover and it held with no problems or leaks."

"The cover is exactly what I was looking for. No intrusion on my small box, dead simple to install, secure from those wandering eyes and easy & fast to roll up out of the way for those larger items. Just hope that the plastic latches last for the duration of the covers life."

"The instructions were very good and installation was easy. The cover fits well, however, getting it unlatched is really tough. I've had to use a "c" clamp to get the latch disengaged. I called the supplier and they are sending to a kit to fix the problem. Might be good if they sent the kit before you complained!!"

"The apperence of the cover is very slick. The only thing I didn't like was that on my 2005 Nissan Frontier cc it had a pretty good gap between the frame of the cover and the front rail on the truck. It would of been nice if they put a seal on it to take up that gap. Air gets between it and makes the cover flap up and down. Overall I would recommend this cover to anyone. Shipping was pretty quick and when i called to find out the shipping date the person i talked too was very professional. Thank You AutoAnything."

An 80% solution

"I needed a cover for my truck bed...the sales person stated the Truxedo was the system I was looking for---while it covers the bed and does keep out the majority of the weather---the appearance and fit of the Truxedo has left me less than satisfied. My truck is an F150 shortbed (5.5 ft) crewcab--the bed is tapered at the tailgate---the Truxedo is not! I was assured it would fit very nicely---it fits like a square cover on an oval container---close but no cigar! The information online states it rolls up tight with luggage type straps to hold it firmly in place--it has one velcro strap and flops around in the stowed configuration. This is a temporary solution for me---the hard cover will be my Christmas present to myself."
