"The installation was a snap once I got it through that little slot .Now I won't have to worry about lossing my tailgate and l.e.d. tailights, which happens quite often in this area. that investment to save a $1000.00 was worth it.Thanks for your good service,as usual."

"Your first choice should be a locking tailgate, if that's not available, a Pop & Lock is a great alternative. It was a seamless 15 min install, but now I've got a metal bar holding back a plastic handle. It's not foolproof, but still a good value!"

"I just bought the extang solid fold but was unable to secure my truck bed until now. the pop and lock works good and i feel comfortable that i can secure my stuff. although if someone really wanted to get in they probably could. overall it's a great product for the price and i would recomend it to anyone in the same situation. does anyone know if they sell kegarator and tapper mounts for a truck bed. because then i would be pretty much set."

"I wasn't sure how easy it would be to install the lock myself but much to my surprise it was a snap. I believe from the time I opened the box, it took me 10 minutes to be completely done. It looks factory installed and I couldn't be happier."

"The instructions were a little vague and the installation took about 30 minutes (mainly trying to figure out what the instructions were asking for), but the final product looks great and works well. A little pricy but well worth it. Toyota should add this feature to their trucks."

"Had to modify the locking lever that locks the handle as it was too short to hold the handle and the tailgate could be opened...took a little bit of time to line up the lock with the screw, but when it lined up, worked fine...Looks sharp and works fine now."

"The istallation was a "piece of cake". It took longer to find the tool kit in my cabinet than it was to install the unit, less than five (5) minutes to install. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of installation and had been looking for something like this for a few months."

"Very happy with the product. Easy to install, looks good. Took off pop&lock sticker, now it looks somewhat factory. Only thing I have doubts about is that it only locks the right side of the handle, which it emphasizes in the installation instructions."

"I have never been more impressed with a product! We all know that most of the time when you order an after market product that it never installs or works the way it is supposed to. WRONG!!! This Pop & Lock product is so easy to install, I just stood there after I was done in a couple of minutes and said to myself,"that's it!". Looks cool too! I think that my tailgate handle would snap before the lock would ever open. There is turly a first time for everything. Thanks to the designers of this lock! Rick N."

"Easy installation. Be sure you have a torx screwdriver (I forget the size). Don't be intimidated by dismantling the inner tailgate liner. Very easy. Overall a great product but I still do not understand why trucks do not come with locking tailgates as standard equipment. Anyone who has a truck knows it's hard to take stuff from the bed when the gate is locked closed. As always, AutoAnything had the best price and delivery."
