"I had a time getting the Pop & Lock lined up and the plastic rim around the lock to fit..I had to file some of the lock edge off to clear the trim.."

"For the Nissan Frontier, 2000, you take off the back plate of the tailgate and put in the lock; which makes you wonder why the manufacturer didn't already do this. I think it's worth about $20; nothing more. (at least for the Frontier model) Yes, very easy. Yes, works great. Cheap keys, hard to duplicate for making spares. Only a deterrent, which is probably sufficient 99% of the time- gives you peace of mind."

"the overall fit and quailty is excellent, the instructions are a bit vague and the kicker is that they sent me tamper proof bolts in the kit and no special tool to put them on or off. so i went to the hardware store, yes the hardware store, not home depot, and got torx bolts the same size to install. the bolts are a bit long so be careful how you install them and if you over tighten them the tailgate handle doesn't close to well. overall rating **1/2 stars"

"This is a great aftermarket lock that gives you a better piece of mind by securely locking up your tailgate. It is very easy to install, I was thinking that I woul dhave an issue putting it in. It really was loosening a few bolts and fitting the lock in. Great purchase and good customer service."
