"Nothing but pleased. The install went get with me and a friend to help. I was nervous about the latch and hinges for the opening at the front of the bed, but am very impressed with how well the system works. I recommend this cover to anyone."

"This is a very versatile tonneau cover and easy to install once the truck is properly prepared. I installed on a 94 Chevy K-1500. I ran into problems with the add-on metal bed rail caps that were on the truck. The rails of the Truxedo Deuce Tonneau Cover do not fit correctly, except with nothing between the truck bed rails and Duece rails. Once I took the add-on bed rail caps off, the installation was a snap, much easier than the directions looked like it would be. The Duece Tonneau Cover fits and works perfectly on my K-1500 long bed truck. The Deuce is a little pricy, but the versatility, good materials, and relatively light weight makes it a very good quality item."

"The duece tonneau cover is an excellent buy if you need to store things near the cab in you box (or if like me everything ends up near the cab after driving a while). Installation is simple and straight forward, and the installed product looks great. The only drawback of the duece (due to the fold in front) is that there are more spots for water to leak in. This is a trade-off and one worth it to me."

"Truxedo Product fit nicely, was easy to install. extremely happy with the product. only problem was that there were several missing pieces. i called Truxedo directly and had the parts shipped to me. unfortunately, i was missing clamps for the rails and retention clip fasteners. this required 2 seperate shipments from Truxedo to correct since i did not know i was missing the fasteners until the tonneau was completely installed.
Truxedo Duce is an excellent product, easy to install, looks good, and durable. the installation instructions were easy to understand and follow. the tonneau was installed on my truck in about 2 hours working by myself. i found that a couple pair of "vice-grips" to hold the tonneau rails in place solved the need for an assistant. my only complaint was that i was missing parts, but a call to the company (using their toll-free number) quickly remedied my problem. the missing clamps were mailed out and added to my nearly finished project in a couple of days. my gas mileage improved with the tonneau and the bed stays quite dry. the tonneau also withstands snow accumulation in our part of the country."

"After I pre-read the instructions, installation took approx. 20-30 mins. The fit and appeareance of my Truxedo Toneau Cover is very neat & tight. I expected to receive a tri-fold cover as viewed on the website. However, I received a cover that folds from the front only. (I guess my '07 Tundra CM's 5.5ft long bed isn't long enough for a tri-fold). No matter, the cover works and looks great. Because I have what many consider a small bed size, I feel that the toneau cover's price should be lower. I've compared other covers for a lower price, but none had the front open features of the Truxedo. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product."

"Of course my truck looks even better with a Truxedo.
It was relatively easy to install. This deuce model however took twice as much time to adjust evenly. However the cab side flip back option is unbelievably worth it,"

"Installation went smooth. I have Putco SS bed caps installed and although the web site said it would not fit with SS bed caps I had no problems with installation. Took about an hour total time. recommend using C-clamps or a helper to hold everything in alignment when installing the Truxedo clamp hardware."

Great cover! Truxedo is the Best, even w/ small Install Hiccups
Posted on 12/15/2007 by John R. - 2007 Toyota Tundra (Rochester,NY)

"I love the cover. This is my second Truxedo. I bought the first one for my son and did ample research prior to that. When I noticed this new design with the flip up front...I knew this was for me. Shipment took about a week and a half to my door, install was longer than most...but not difficult. I had 2 small glitches during the install: 1- I wanted to leave the tie downs in place on the Tundra Rail system, I found that they interfere slightly with the cover framework and once left in place, and they cannot be easily moved or removed without removing the whole framework.
2- Once the framework was in place and aligned (per instructions), I found that the front latch would not engage, as the mechanism rested on the front bed rail. I had to remove the mechanism from the center rail (front framework portion of cover and move it to the next rail back. Once completed it worked fine.
A recommendation to the manufacturer would be to beef up the most rearward clamp on the Toyota Rail system, to keep it from sagging when the cover is rolled. I have to force the rear frame section into the side frames then close tailgate, followed by latching tonneau."

"The deuce cover was straightforward to install; it took me about an hour. It fits nicely; loks tight and seals well. I'm not yet sure about any gas milage changes; I was dissapointed to see that "mythbusters" had a show that claimed that my milage wan't change."

"The Truxedo Deuce has worked extremely well. I took a little effort to get it installed by myself and a little adjusting to get the fit correct, but I haven't had any problems since then. The front access is very handy and worth the extra money in my opinion."

"So far I Love the cover. It was extremely tight to begin with and somewhat of a PITA to get adjusted correctly. But now that is been on a couple of weeks and loosened a bit, it is awesome. I love being able to access the front or roll the rear forward. There is no bettre soft cover for the Tundra."
