"Auto anything was excellent: customer service, very fast delivery. The top itself is well made and engineered. When it arrived I was very disappointed to see scratches and paint chips. It looked like it had already been used. I know it was new but the shipping material did not do the job. It took a little joy out of getting the top when it looked mistreated. Would I buy again? Yes but........."

"It's a nice enough cover. I wish the rear latches were more adjustable for tension, or that they were of a different design, it's a little tough to reach around the corner of the box to unlatch. It would also be good if there were some sort of latch on the mid section. It springs up a little bit, as the foam wears, it may begin to leak. The tailgate did not seal well at all, but an extra piece of foam tape along the lid helped out. For new GM trucks, the use of a cover will fill the bed with dust on gravel roads, much of the interior of the bed is open to the wheel wells, and there is an open seam along the front of the bed. The tail gate gap is amazing, you can stick your finger almost all the way through."

"Looks Great, easy to install. Could use aluminum mounting brackets instead of plastic. But this is a minor issue. It's much better with keeping water out than my retrax i had. Add some extra rubber seals and it's great. I really like it."

"It took about 4 weeks for the cover to arrive after I ordered it. It may have been shorter if my truck was a more common model, rather than something new. When I received the cover, i opened the box and noticed the bottom side of one of the panels had a small dent and a chunk of sealing foam rubber that works as the cover gasket to the truck was torn and missing. Otherwise i am pleased with the performance and looks of the top. The install manual was pretty weak, but it was easy enough to figure out the install without it."

"After placing this order with AUTOANYTHING, the Extang Cover arrived at my home within two days! Unit was found to be in good condition with no visable signs of damage. However, one small square piece of rubber sealer was loose from the top and found to be laying in the box. I reattached the piece and test fitted the cover. Upon placing the cover on the bed rails of a 2004 Ford F-150 short bed truck, the front right corner rubber sealer also came loose. I am using double side carpet tape to hold the loose pieces on the cover. Other than these minor issues, I found the unit to be very well constructed and I believe it will perform well. Installation is extremely easy and quick. It equally is esthetically pleasing and appears to be quite strong."

"The Extang cover was easy to install. We selected this cover because it was easy to remove if we needed full access to our truck bed. We have a tent that sets up over the bed of the truck and the cover works perfect for that. We can haul everything with the cover on to keep the load dry and it is easy to remove and set under our truck when we are ready to put our tent up. It wasn't totally water proof. There was a small amount of water leaking in by the space in between the foam water seal where the cover folds. There wasn't enough water to soak anything. Our truck has the rail system and the cover works fine with it. They give you extra parts to install the cover to the rails. We are happy with the cover."

"I received the Tonneau Cover within a few days of ordering the product, made me very happy. The first thing I notice was the box had a hole in it and the cover was puncture from the bottom and at the end part of the cab, no one would see it and didn’t reach the surface of the covert. The cover was of a better Quality then I thought it would be so since it looked and feel of a very good quality I decided to keep it. Installation was a breeze wish the clamps were made of some kind of metal and not plastic but had it for a few weeks drove the truck with cover unfold it and seems fine. There is one thing I had to compensate for the height once I put the cover on and tight it opening and closing the tailgate was hard and would eventually rip the rubber seal of the cover, off, so I went down to the auto part store and bought a rubber strip add it to the top of the bed liner closed it and all is fine. We had some heavy rain and put it through a car wash, the bed is as dry as can be. The cover has a pitch now because I put the rubber at the end to raise the back so the tailgate can open and close better but will soon add it all around the bed liner so it would make it more even but higher off the truck. I’m willing to live with it. Over-all not bad at all!"

"Very pleased with the unit. Easy to install( make sure you get the Tacoma special fittings). It seems very rugged and it is easy to use. Looks great and it should holdup to the UV rays that kill the vinyl tops. Autoeverything had the best prices by far!!!!"

"The Extang folding tonneau cover is all that they said that it is. It was easy to install, light in weight and easy to use. My last cover was a one piece which looked good but made my truck a car as it was difficult and heavy to remove. I would suggest to Extang to ad another set of clamps for the center piece and to make all of the clamps out of metal instead of plastic. This would make it more secure and much harder to break into."

"Received and installed very Quickly. Materials were very good and installation a snap. Had a lifting on hydraulic arms type on my other Dodge and like this much better especially for access to the front part of the bed. The other one is a pain. The arms kept breaking on the other one as well. I don't think it looks as good down but sor far I like it a lot."

"The Extang provides the storage and security I need for items that are frequently used. I had to add spacers at the back to accomodate the bulge from my tail-gate "easy step". The strong lightweight material construction is a vast improvement over the canvas-type I had before."

"The quality exhibited by the Extang Solid Fold Tonneau Cover is exceptional. Far exceeded my expectations since this purchase was done on-line from pictures. I have not hesitated to recommend this product to my friends. One corner pad was missing from the shipment, but a phone call to the factory was handled with excellent professional help and the missing part was immediately sent via FedEx. Good Product ... Poor Instructions

"AutoAnything shipped the product quickly, but due to weather I was not able to install it for a few days. When I started the install I discovered that the package contained all the hardware for attaching to my bed rail, but there were no instructions on how to do so. I tried to call Extang, but they were closed until Monday (this was Friday afternoon, about 5:15 pm; they close at 5:00 pm) Next I called AutoAnything, but they did not have the instructions I needed. I finally found a photo on a review of the bed cover that showed it attached to the deck rails and was able to figure it out and get it installed. The cover appears to be well made, but it is out of square so that if you look closely, it does not fit perfectly. Also, some of the vinyl covering on the bottom of the tonneau appears not to be stuck down too well. Regardless, overall I am pleased with the product."
