"Extang has the best tonneau covers out there for the price! The solid fold fit my new body style 2007 Sierra 2500 perfectly. This is the easiest cover I've ever had for installation. Literaly takes less than two minutes to remove or install. Product covers up bed-rail holes in closed position which keeps water out of the bed. Bed of truck stays dry even during high speeds with hard rainfall. Recommend installing bed-rail caps to give a cleaner finished appearance. Only downfall is the weight of the product when removing/installing, would like it to be 10-15 pounds lighter. However, the weight is a testimony to it's industrial strength construction."

Nice looking but questionable workmanship

"Easy to install and use but mine came with flaws. The strap for securing the cover in the folded position fell off the first week while just hanging with no weight on it. The screw head popped off and now must be drilled out. Some of the weather stripping is also coming loose."

"The extang solid fold cover was everything advertised. It was installed in only a few minutes. The great thing about it is that it is light weight and can quickly be removed if need be. This was a great purchase since it will be sitting outside in snow storms and should handle the weight of snow without collapsing."

"I researched what I wanted for my GMC Sierra Denalli truck for over 3 weeks and finally decided on the Extang Solid Fold. My decision was based on many variables. Functionality, versitility and stregnth. Not seeing first hand but trusting in AutoAnything that I could return if not satisfied, I purchased the product on line and when I received it in the mail 5 days later I was blown away. This product has exceeded my expectations in every way. If I was able to see this product before I purchased it I would have paid 20 to 30% more. "AWESOME COVER -- ALTHOUGH NOT AS PRETTY AS A REGULAR CUSTOM TONNEAU -- DEFINITELY IS A CINCH TO PUT ON AND OFF OR OPEN AND CLOSE-- SHOULD REMOVE TAILGATE LIP TO MAKE IT FLAT FROM FRONT TO BACK--ALTHOUGH IT STILL WORKS WITH IT ON-AND IT ALSO STAYS PRETTY DRY UNDER -- LOST A COUPLE OF RUBBER MOLDINGS DURING THE FIRST COUPLE OF DAYS AND ONE STRAP BROKE BUT THIS IS VERY MINOR -- THIS COVER DESERVES 5 STARS BUT WITH THE MINOR PROBLEMS I HAVE TO GIVE IT 4 --DEFINITELY A KEEPER - JOHN-FL."

Best Folding Cover

"I have researched tops for my 07 Classic Crew Cab since I got it last December and this seemed like the best buy. I actually saw the SolidFold by accident when I was getting ready to purchase another folding top and I'm glad I did. It's solid, it appears well constructed, and according to a guy at a local car parts store who looked at it...it's the best folding cover he's ever seen. The true test of course for any folding cover is protection from the elements. We made 2 trips to visit family in Atlanta this past summer with our gear in a "weatherproof" bag. Each time, our clothes and belongings got damp on the trips back. I wished I had ordered this top before those trips! I have clothes to donate just thrown in the back with no protection and through 2 hard storms and Hurricane Humberto, all those clothes are dry. The only area I saw any water was a few drops that trickled in on the floor of the bed near the stake holes. I did not accurately align the top before securing it and there's just enough gap over the left stake hole to pass a few business cards through and thats where the water came in at. But really, even after the hurricane rains it wasn't enough water to wet some gear I had lying just inches away. I'd recommend this top for anyone and I'd definitely recomend AutoAnything to everyone. Top arrived right on time with no damage. Thanks AutoAnything and Extang!"

"After extensive research, I decided that a solid cover that folded would work the best, and allow me to lock the truck bed. I ordered the Extang Solid Cover. It arrived in 2 days, perfect condition, and took about 5 minutes to install. Quality is excellent. Immediately saw a 1 1/2 MPG improvement. Would highly recommend."

Extang Solid Fold Tonneau Cover

"There is only one piece to this cover. There are no runners to install. All three pieces are hinged to each other and it can fold nicely on top of itself while still attached to the truck. I had an Avalache and was looking for that same functionality. When I opened the box, I was a bit puzzled but once I installed it (it took about 1 minute) I was impimpressed with the design. The section closets to the cab does not match the arch of the front of the bed of my Dodge, but nothing that will bother me. The only issue I have is that you really cannot close the tailgate with the back section locked down (spring loaded reatiners). You can, but I think that the piece of rubber designed to seal the bed would not last very long. The good news is you can lift up the back section of the cover and then close the tailgate. The back section will lift about 2 inches. Just get your fingers out quickly. I installed a Pace Edwards electronic tailgate lock and I now have a sealed bed. No regrets and outstanding construction and simplicity of installation and operation. Highly recommended."

Easy Install - Uncertain Fit & Water Tight Seal

"I received the cover quickly. I downloaded instructions from internet which helped. All installation items for 2007 Toyota Tacoma were supplied. Installed easily in 20 minutes. Tailgate seal misses top of tailgate by about 1/8 inch. I wrote to customer service and got quick response with a new length of weather stripping. Problem is it is the same as the original. However, with this new one I figure I can remove the original, add a ¼ inch flat gasket, then attach this new one and it will do the trick. The problem I now have is that the cover is leaking along the section seams. Today it has rained hard all day and when I open the tailgate and look into the box I see water dripping down the side of box at the seams and water dripping from the seams themselves. I have written to customer service and will have to see how they suggest solving the problem. I am concern that I spent the extra money on something that may not be "reasonably" water tight."

"Very please with the installation on the Extang Soild Fold Tonneau Cover. Installed in ten minutes! Material quality is excellent. We have had solid covers before; however, this one will let you utilitize the truck bed without removing the cover."
