A hard, lightweight version of the renowned Extang Trifecta Tonneau Cover, the Solid Fold gives you all the security you need with incredibly easy to use features. Aircraft-grade aluminum with a sound honeycomb core gives each section unyielding toughness, yet the cover weights just 50lbs. And, the black Poly-Tex finish provides sport-style looks.

There's no easier hard folding tonneau cover to use than the Solid fold. Simply drop your tailgate, pull the spring-loaded SpeedKlamps and fold back. The clamps even tuck into the cover. Then, the folded cover latches together with integrated buckle straps.

Notes

  • Trucks with bed liners: the Extang Solid Fold Tonneau Cover fits all sprayed-on and under-the-rail bed liners. The Solid Fold will not fit over-the-rail bed liners without cutting notches into the liner.
  • Trucks with bed caps: the Extang Solid Fold Tonneau Cover fits all factory and most non-factory plastic bed caps. The Solid Fold will not fit aluminum or stainless steel bed caps.
  • Trucks with flipping bed extenders: the Extang Solid Fold will not fit flipping bed extenders.

"I was looking for a bed cover for my F-250 that would fit over my flush mount tool box. This cover does that although I still need to move the cover in order to open the tool box. The ease in which the cover folds up though and the easy to reach hold down clamps make this a snap. The cover really solved my problem of keeping my truck bed dry and secure while allowing me to keep the tool box in place."

"I'm very impressed by the ease of installation. It took me less than 10 minutes on my 2010 Tundra. I think it actually took longer to get out of the box then to put on my truck. I would highly recommend this if you are looking for something quick and easy that you can secure with a locable tail-gate. Also, take note that it DOES work with my factory extendable bed gate. All I have to do is fold back one section in order to operate the swing gate."

"As a retired aerospace engineer I tend to be very critical of product designs. I looked at several other manfacturers and kept coming back to the extang Solid Fold tonneau cover for my new F-150 truck. The design is very simple and extremely easy to install. It almost took me longer to get it out of the shipping box then it did to install it. Other products had way to many parts (multiple rails, drain hoses, compound mounting brackets etc) to go bad or malfunction. That's what sold me on the extang. There's no drilling required and it sits right on top of the bed sides. When closed it also has a LOT smoother top thereby not having small grooves to trap dirt, or up north, water and/or ice which would end up damaging the seals and hinges between the folding panels. My only negative ctitic would be with the latching straps that hold all three panels together when folded up. The anchor bracket for the tie back straps should have been placed in a more solid part of the frame, but then that would have required a much longer strap. With my locking tailgate I now have a nice dry and secure bed. The extang customer service guys were great to work with in determining if it would not interfere with my OEM bed extender, which the locking latch handles clear with no problem. Overall, there's not much that can go wrong with this cover and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a good reliable tonneau cover for the bed of their truck."

"The cover arrived with two sections seperated. The glue joint had failed. I reassembled the two covers and it seems to stay together. I was a little disappointed because the cover looked great with no defectects. I still don't if it will hold. The look is great and I can lock up my stuff"

"Well packed and arrived with no damage. That said, no installation instructions came with the Extang. I called AutoAnything, and was told instructions and warranty card would be sent. Nothing has arrived. I then called Extang, and the customer service rep e-mailed the instructions. Installation was then very easy. Very well made and sturdy cover. Much easier to use than a one-piece cover. Removes easily. Great value. I would highly recommend the Extang to any truck owner who is looking to keep the truck bed secured."

"I like everything about the cover. It certainly exceeded my expectations on fit, appearance, and so far it's shown good weathertightness. Installation takes less time than wrestling with the carton and removing the contents. Now, Extang has to work on getting the price down a little bit. I would highly recommend the bed cover."
