The BakFlip G2 was shipped quickly and arrived in great condition. The installation was as shown in the video and was very easy for me to complete, by myself with no problems, in less than an hour. The quality of the tonneau cover is outstanding and not only provides protection for cargo but also enchances the appearance of my truck.

Arrived with broken prop rod. Replacement received 8 days later (2-3 days was promised). This is a part that will fail in time due to the plasic ball joint. The rubber strip covering the the top sides will go bad at each folding panel from constant opening and closing. Other than this, it's a very nice top that's super easy to install. Tacoma load management system can not be used with the top in place.

I love the way it looks, it was way easy to install improved gas milage by 1.1 miles to the gal. the only problem i have found is with the lumber rack system and the noise it makes while driving it is louder than the raido in side the truck, they work fine but the noise is bad . I have taken them off the truck and am only useing them when i need to.

Excellent cover. Install went well, although included insructions are a little vague. Reccomend watching installation videos. Not sure how water tight it is and how it will hold up yet, but very satisfied so far.

I took the advice from other reviews and watched a youtube installation video a few times before installing it. That made the process clearer. I did it myself in an hour, including crawling into the bed and making minor bracket adjustments so the sections would close with just the right amount of pressure (I'm a bit anal). It rained and I had only minimal traces of water just around the tailgate. Very happy with it. I like that once it's installed it's easy to remove the cover if I wanted to.

The instructions are poorly written and imprecise. The aluminum mounting brackets had burrs that had to be removed. It took about 4 tries to finally get the cover to mount properly. My bed was treated with Line X spray liner so the weather seal leaks at the front. I'll have to seal with silicone. It does work and provides security. How long it will last is a function of time. Considering other alternatives, this meets my needs for flexibility and max use of the bed.

i just bought a 2012 F250 standard bed (6'9.8") and i want to put a tonneau cover on but don't know if the folding kind clear the hitch area. i heard that the BAK G2 actually has 4 folds not 3 so it seems that it would clear it comfortably when folded, leaving just the last fold down. is that true?
