"I love the tonneau cover and it was real easy to install. And it looks great. The only thing I don't like is that it is a little difficult to close. Is it possible to get gas shocks that are not as strong? But otherwise I love it. And you had the lowest price."

"My husband loves his new tonneau cover. The paint was a perfect match, and it was easy and quick to install. It opens so easy, and the lock is great. The only problem we had was with the shipping company they were not customer friendly. One person delivered (this is a large heavy package!)and he had a hard time getting it off the truck and would not wait for the package to be opened as specified. Well guess what the cover had been damaged in shipping.But the gaylord company thus far has been quite cooperative helping to get the cover fixed, which has not happened yet. But they told us we could get it fixed locally and they would pay."

A Good Product

"It took about eight weeks to receive the cover, but once it arrived, I was very pleased with the look. I had planned to install it myself, but no instructions were in the container; therefore, I took it to my dealer to install. It took them about 45 minutes to install it, at a cost of 59 bucks; it was worth it. I love the paint match. You can't tell the difference in the paint on the cover from the original paint on the truck body. Also, what I like about the cover is that it can be easily removed if need be. The lock adds security, which I am quite conscious about. There are a couple drawbacks about the cover; it does not quite fit the truck as tight or snug as other covers I have seen. The hinges are kind of flimsy and the locking mechanism seems to get out of line and not lock properly. Had not been for this, I would have given the cover an overall rating of excellent. I would, however, recommend the Gaylord cover to any of my friends."

"Gaylord's TL Series is a high quality tonneau cover. The fit, color match, and finish is excellent and the installation is very straight forward. The single center mounted lock is a nice improvement over the dual locks. Overall, it's a great value and it gives the truck a nice, sporty look. The cover comes crated from the factory and is thoroughly protected for shipping."

"the cover doesn't fit as snuggly to the truck as I have seen other covers.The hindge setup is cheap(flimsy)and the locking mechinism seems to get out of line and not lock properly,paint job was great, looks good,"

"This is my first tonneau cover i've had, and I am very impressed! Color matches perfectly! I opted for the carpeting underneath, and it looks great! The customer service at Autoanything.com is excellent! The delivery guy was right on time and very friendly. It comes very well packaged! One piece of advice, have about 3 friends help with the install, it's kinda heavy!"

"I am very happy with the overall product. Instalation was very easy and the finish matched perfectly. The only suggestion I have is re-engineer your locking system to somehow make it optional to lock. It is a pain to have a key every time you go to open."

"Gaylords really stands behind their product! Once it was determined that the struts that came with the lid were not strong enough, I received heavier struts in a matter days. The lid works great and looks nice on my 1972 short box Chevy."

"It is a great product. I took me about one hour to install with help. I did find the instructions lacking on some details. Which delayed the install. GREAT PAINT MATCH! I did scratch one of the corners of the cover on my gravel/rock driveway. Otherwise its great!"

"My initial response is I'm impressed with the quality of this cover. I like the excellent paint finish and the fit. Very durable and have noticed an immidiate increase in mileage with my long bed dually. Well worth the investment for security and extra mileage"

"Upon installing the Tonneau Cover, all written instructions were simple to understand, until I got to #6, (the part of installing the gas shocks), according to your instructions, measurements are to be taken with the tonneau in a closed position with the tail gate open. Note; when the tonneau arrived the gas shocks were found with the shafts extended out. I followed your instructions which caused unescessary holes drilled in my bed. RECOMMENDATIOMS: Ship the gas shocks wired in a closed position or change your instuctions where it reads; take gas shocks measurments with tonneau in a fully opened position, it will make the installation alot easier. Thank you for allowing my comments. Stancri."
