"The Extang Trifecta was the best bed cover for my 2007 Tundra because: - It allows continued use of the Deck Rail System - It works with the factory bed liner w/o modification - It doesn't use any additional tracks(only 4 small clips that attach to Deck Rail System) - It folds up easily - It comes completely off in about 60 seconds if I need full use of the bed (and it is very light) - It is water tight - Lower cost than most good covers (plus free shipping, no sales tax) - Takes about 15 minutes to install - No snaps or velcro"

"The overall product quality is good. Not quite a "perfect seal" - seals on front corners by back of cab are about 1/16" short from meeting the bed. The clamps on the cab end work but could use a little optimization for the 2006 bed rails."

Great cover but missing parts

"I really like the extang Rrifecta folding cover but when it arrived there were no brackets for the Titan utility trac which I ordered. Called and they sent brackets but shorted me 2 bolts. Trip to hardware store was required. Total of 3 weeks to get and install top. Worth the wait. Really does all it claims and more."

2005 F150 Short Bed - Great Cover!!

"I bought this cover for my 2005 F150 short bed. I frequently travel with a full bed of luggage and other stuff, and I was tired of fighting with tarps in the wind, and having rain soak my stuff! I also liked the idea of a bit of added security for my stuff on a daily basis! I am pleased to say that this bed fits the bill perfectly! I have had it on for about a month. Within 5 minutes after installing I took it through a car wash. It has also rained several times since I put it on. The cover keeps my stuff nice and dry! The only thing that isn't quite a perfect fit is right at the front of the bed near the cab. On the Ford there are factory bed rail covers on both sides and the tail gate. But there is nothing on the front of the bed. So the seals are not quite perfect where the plastic bed rail cap ends and the plain front bed edge starts. But now that the cover has been on for a while, it has molded to the shape of the rails a bit, and has a better fit. Even at the beginning when taking it through the car wash, leakage was very minor, and is now almost non-existant! This cover also looks great! I get complements all the time. I am sad to report that I have not noticed any improvement in around town milage. Hopefully it will help on the highway though! I would recommend this cover to anyone! It looks great, keeps out sun, water, and sticky fingers! Also, it's a great deal!!"

"the Trifecta tonneau cover is a piece of cake to install and looks great. It took 10 minutes to install and after 1 month of use, has seen snow and heavy rain with no measurable amount of water in the bed. I'll be purchasing the tonneau tonic condition to keep it looking new. Thanks Extang!"

"I rarely buy an item that lives up to it's billing, but this cover is everything that it's advertised to be. The fit, finish, and operation is outstanding. I pull a fifthwheel trailer, and I can fold this cover have access to my hitch without removing it."

"I bought the Trifecta for my '05 F-150 SuperCrew with 5-1/2 bed, only to find out that there were factory "notches" in the bed rails right where the front clamps attach. I had to cut small stainless steel plates to cover the notches and allow a firm connection in the front. Just a warning to check your bed rails before purchasing. Other than that initial fit problem, the cover is great."

"I purchased this cover in anticipation of a vacation to NY. I was going to have a full cab of people and needed more space for luggage and such. It took just 5 minutes to unpack and install, very simple. I have since returned and I'm nothing but impressed with the performance of this cover. The folding makes for easy unloading and loading and is extrememly easy to lock back in place. I'm not sure of the mileage saving but it definetely doesn't hurt. The cover seals great and I did order the seal package for the tailgate. The only sign of moisture I had was at the top corners of the tailgate. I have even shut myself inside the bed and looked for day-light. Pitch black except for the gap at the tailgate corners. I have carpet on my bed and even with a driving rain and carwash it has not leaked enough to get the carpet wet. I would recommend this cover to anyone. It looks great and performs like a champ."

"For the short time that I have had the the Trifecta tonneau cover it seems great.It is as advertized, and is easy to install.UPS was a little agressive with the package, as it was open upon arrival. Maybe the package needs a bottle of tonneau tonic to complete the process. Thanks for your services...BA in VT."

"The cover is great for my truck!! The only thing I would mention to someone looking at this cover for their F-150 that has a OEM/Stock tonneau cover, you have to take the old rails off since this cover won't span the old rails. Also, make sure you lock your tailgate to prevent someone from stealing the cover! Overall a great product and well worth the price!!"

tonneau cover on dodge

"I bought the estang tri fold tonneau for my 2006 dodge 1500 I am 95% happy with it. It went on easily and looks real good.It mounts on very secure when installed. The only problem is my truck came with a plastic piece over the top of the tail gate. It sits about a 1/4" higher than the side rails So there is a slight gap where it goes over the tail gate."
