I was expecting the rails to cover more of the bed rails. I got the bed rails because I want to install a ladder rack. I think the limited application of racks a the price of the racks that fit sort of corners you into spending the money. contractors that are trying to start out have to spend more of what they don't have yet to benefit later. I think if they were wider, covering more of the bed rail, and more versatile, they would appeal more allowing a wider range of racks capable to work with the cover. I'm utilizing the bedlocker as a cover to a larger lockable storage container, the bed. I've also installed the electric latch which puts my mind at ease knowing my tool kits are safe
