"Product is overall "pretty good". I have an issue with the seal binding up and actually pulling away where the extra steel support for the tail gate hinges are supported. That particular area has too close tolerance for the profile of this product.
It may have worked better if I had routed it lower? My concern is to whether it would stick or not if I removed it and tried to lower it?
I guess I'll deal with it.

"Seal quality is good, but since it is considered a universal seat. the installation is a pain, and depending on which vehicle you have, you need to remove it and reinstall several times to find the right location to stop air leaks and voids. Cost seems a little high for what you are getting. If I had to do it over again, I would just go to Home Depot or a similar store and get some regular weather stipping and call it good."

"The truxedo truxseal was just what it says it is a seal, I installed it in about 15 minutes, and it really fits and seals good . Very good product ."

"Installed on my 2008 Tundra, At first the thickness of the seal made the tailgate hard to close, but after a couple of days the seal compressed and the tailgate operates perfect. Good quality product"
