"I am thrilled with the G2 cover. Finally a cover that provides security, ease of access, and allows complete use of the bed when needed. It was simple to install."

"Cover looks very nice, many compliments. Make sure if you don't have plastic caps over the edges of your bed you have to install the plastic pieces they provide. Also make sure you actually use the tubes for draining, if you don't you may get a puddle in the bed. Overall very nice cover."

"My BAK BakFlip arrived on schedule, well packaged and with simply straight foward instructions. I had the cover on in about 15 minutes and was driving down the road. It happen to be raining and when I arrive at my destination I was pleasantly surprised to see that when I drop the tailgate, I literally did not have a drop of water in the bed. Very impressive.
This cover was exactly the value and ease I was looking for in a bed cover."

"Overall, I am very satisfied. It is not perfect, but it looks good and works well. I would buy this again, and recommend it to friends.
Ordering from AutoAnything was very easy. I called in for a price match, and they beat the other price. Shipping was prompt.
The package arrived with a puncture on the bottom. I examined the cover and found a small dent on the underside of one of the panels - not enough to complain about and it didn't affect function or the outward appearance, but the packaging could have been better.
Installation was easy, but you really need 2 people to lift the cover onto the rails. It isn't that heavy, but the folded size makes it awkward.
Instructions were fair, being generic for all vehicles. My vehicle required a spacer, which was included, but the instructions as to why it was needed, and exactly where to place it, were poor. This required a call to BAK
The cover did not close properly because my truck came with a tailgate and bulkhead wraps, but not side rail wraps. I had to add a 3/16" foam weather strip from Home Depot to the underside of the rails to match the tailgate/bulkhead wrap height. This would not be a problem with a 4 side wrap."

"This is the third cover I have purchased for my 05 Tundra. The first was a roll up Truxcedo that leaked like no other. The second was a Pace Jackrabbit roll up that leaked like crazy and took up too much bed space. The bakflip leaks some, but not nearly as much as the others and I see a couple of easy ways to fix some of that. Over all it is everything that was promised. The only draw back I see is short people will have a hard time folding it up on taller pickups like the F-150. Autoanything was great to deal with."

"After two months of ownership I am very happy with the BakFlip. It looks great and offers much more security than a canvas cover if you have a locking tailgate. It's definitely pricey but I think it's worth due to the high quality of materials used and the perfect fit-n-finish. Looks like OEM quality. The flip mechanism works perfectly. My only complaint is that the visible rubber gaskets have some bubbles but that may go away in time. Overall, VERY satisfied with this product."

"The G2 BakFlip Tonneau cover is an excellent value. It looks good and lives up to it's hype. The installation instructions however, leave much to be desired. My wife and I took an hour and half to install it, with 45 minutes just trying to decipher the instructions. The pictures appear to be copied from a marketing pamphlet, and are very poor guides for the installation of the product. The actor looks good tho..."

"Recently purchased the Bakflip G-2 for my '06 Dakota. It is replacing a soft tonneau cover. I can safely say there is no comparison between the two! I installed it in about 40 minutes, very simple install. Of all the folding hard covers available, the Bakflip had the best reviews. The only feature this cover doesn't have is reverse folding from the cab back, an option I wouldn't have used anyway. Highly recommend this product!"

"The only problem with installation was the instructions could have been more clear concerning the shim strips on whether they should be installed on the top of the bed
rails or on the top inside of the rails. A better explanation or picture would have saved
some waisted time but it still only took about 50 minutes to install. The one improvement I would suggest is on the latch release cord should be modified. They have a tendency to slip back under the panels lip when you try to open a panel. Over all I think it is a great product and with the exception as noted very easy installation."

"Installation took about 20 minutes, and it looks great. I can't use the drain tubes unless I drill holes in my bed. I wish the cover was about an inch longer...when it's pushed tight against the cab, there's a small amount of space at the tailgate (enough for water to get in during rainy weather), but if I slide it down to cover the tailgate, water will enter up near the cab. It could be an inch longer and fit perfectly. I just centered it the best I could, and very little water gets in. It's still a nice cover."

"This couldn't be easier to install. The cover was installed in 30 minutes with another 15 or so to make minor adjustments. The profile is very small, you can barely see it above the side rails. I have the 2005 Dodge Ram Daytona with the big spoiler on the back. I had to spend about an hour with my Dremel to trim a bit off the spoiler but it fits fine. The cover wont open with the Spoiler in place but there are only two small bolts holding it on that it really doesnt matter. All in all, a great product!"

"Looks great on my 09 F250. Edges are somewhat rough cut on rails. The covers allows full access to bed and doesn't interfere with stake pockets. The 3/4" drain tubes are a bit excessive. Think the manufacturer should rethink this. Cover looks great and performs flawlessly so far."
