"I have been quite impressed with my cover so far. I was truly surprised how easy the installation was. There was no one around at the time it was delivered and I didn't feel like waiting for anyone, so I did it myself. Only took me about an hour.
Everyone that I show the cover to is very impressed with it as well.

"Recently installed my cover on a 2006 F-150 and so far, it's exactly what I wanted. Very low profile doesn't take away from bed rail caps, and cover can be folded out of the way for large items.
As with most of the other reviews, the instructions are lousy, but cover is very ieasy to install - watch the video first.
Cover did arrive without the drain tubes and the nuts to secure it in the upright position, took about two weeks for Autoanything and BAK to get them to me, but everything worked out in the end. Also took every one of the estimated manufacturing and shipping days, so might not want to expect to get it on the early side of the estimate."

"BAK Bakflip Tonneau Cover fits perfectly. My Tundra has after market bed rails and I was a little reluctant to order the Bakflip. However it fit perfectly and took about a hour and a half to install. I am very satisfied with the Bakflip and with AutoAnything. Excellant product, great service. Thanks, Jim"

"This is a great cover. It was easy to intall, although it did not come with instructions, instructions were obtained from the Bak website. This evidently was an updated version as it did not need any drilling. The cover fits fine and looks great."

"It was very easy to install. I did it by myself in about an hour. It's not as water proof as I would like but I may be able to seal the tailgate better. It opens and closes very easily. Instructions were not clear and a portion of them was blocked by a picture. It looks great, too."

"The Bakflip cover is an excellent idea. The engineering is great. The manufacturing sector, however, dropped the ball. Three parts were packed already damaged. I was able to repair them. Once installed, with some fine tuning, I love it."

Nice cover but mounting system needs improvement
Posted on 08/21/2007 by Henry C. (Idaho Falls,ID)
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
"The touted easy mounting system of the BAKflip cover displaced the four OEM moveable cargo hooks on the 2007 Tacoma double cab truck - didn't expect that after reading all the reviews. One advice: use lock washers (not spring washers)on the screw head side to prevent the screws from spinning freely when you try to loosen the screws later for adjustment or alignment. Otherwise the installation was very straight forward. The web-based installation guide didn't provide any additional installation hint - needs improvement.
Cover looked like original equipment for a couple of weeks, but beginning to notice some sagging at mid-span on the leaf nearest to the tailgate."

BakFlip Nissan Frontier (Good Compromise)
Posted on 08/21/2007 by Gregg C. - 2007 Nissan Frontier (Harrah,OK)

"BakFlip is a good compromise. I have had the cover on my 2007 Nissan truck now for 2 months. I traded in my SUV for a crew cab truck with the idea of keeping the interior room but also having more space to haul stuff. I needed a bed cover that would keep my cargo relativly safe and dry but also easily moveable in case I wanted to haul something larger. After a lot of research it came down to the BakFlip and the Undercover. The idea of the backflip wins hands down but after having it for two months the decision comes down to one thing do you really need to haul items taller than the sidewalls of the bed or not. If the answer is yes then the bakflip is the one. I like the idea that I can stop off at a Home improvement store and have no worry that the items I buy will fit. I just fold it up. The downside is that the cover is only safer than a tonneau because it appears secure in reality it can easily be shifted and opened from outside. Its only about 90% water proof and last weekend I looked back and noticed that it really does jump around alot at highways speed. I almost thought that I had made the wrong decision, but came to the conclusion when I had to haul my daughters PowerWheels home that it was the right choice. If you haul unplanned stuff then its worth it. If you don't and need security then a flip up design might be the choice.
Strong point: Folds up, Relativly inexpensive, Looks great, Fits inside the bed wall.
Weak point: Not very sturdy, Fit truck well but required some ingenuiety, Low security."

Great Cover---Nice Sleek Look

"The Bakflip cover is great. It took two weeks to get after ordering but well worth the wait. Very easy to install. Very easy to open and close. The only thing that didn't fit were the tubes for the drain but thats because of my Rino-Lining spray in bed liner---no big deal though I just went out and got smaller hoses. Now my bed is covered and when I lock my tail gate everything inside is secure---but if I need to put bigger load the cover folds up out of the way. Way better than any button down cover and looks better too."

"The bak flip looks real nice, but Im having problems with it. First tape underneath top was riped and peeling when arrived. Second rubber seal that keeps panels from rubbing keeps falling off. Third one panel is missing locking mechanism so panel jumps on highway speeds. Im very disapointed about first problem because since I installed 3 weeks ago more tape is peeling. Im afraid it will not last long, and I dont open it much so should not be having this problem."

BAK Bakflip Tonneau - needs more fixing

"Suggestion for improvement:
1. Include a packing list that will state what's inside the package.
2. Have the instruction describe how each part is to be installed.
3. Name the tools needed for the installation.
4. Write a contact point for any assistance.
-------------
I have trouble taking a bolt from my honda ridgeline until I purchased a ball hex driver.
And after I completed the installation - the middle latch keep popping up, I knock it in place with my hand but it pops up after a drive. Then there's this 2 pieces of plastic (1.5"x7" same material as the main cover) that I do not know where to install.
I send an email to the manufacturer's website but so far has not been answered.
I am still trying to figure how i can keep the middle latch from popping up. Until then, I am not fully satisfied."

"The Bakflip Tonneau cover that I purchase work, and looks great on my Nissan Titan. Just wash my truck today since having the cover and it didn't leak as much as I thought it would. So I know my cargo will be safe from any wet weather until I get it to its destination. This was a great buy! My only complaint was the instructions sucked. But if I can figure it out anyone can.
Great Job!!"

Bakflip Tonneau Cover, Good Value!

"At this point, I am very happy with the BAK Bakflip Tonneau Cover. After researching all of the different types of tonneau covers, I found this particular model best for me. I have the ability to have items stored in the bed of my truck and hidden from sight. The Bakfkop is easy to install and gives my truck a good look. Although this type of cover cost about $200 more than others, I would recomend this type of tonneau cover to anyone!
Thanks,
Michael

"So far cover has been great. Have only had for about 1 1/2 weeks. Very little water at front of truck bed after a car wash, otherwise everything else dry. New cover is easy to install. Only took about 45 mins to put together. Very easy to use and so far very happy with my purchase."
