"Although the installation instructions and the online instruction video clip were not identical, laying the parts out made installation very easy. The price is right; however we spent another $40 for drill bits for installation of drainage tubes and caulking of rails to secure weather proofing of bed. Overall installation was extremely easy and quick."

"So far so good, I love the look and functionality. Installation was a breeze and it is as easy to open and close as the internet demo's. Had to modify the drain tubes to fit my truck, they were too large to fit thru the existing holes. It has not been in the rain yet to verify waterproof effectiveness, looks like it might need some sealant around the front weather stripping to keep blowing / driving rain out. The real test will be how it holds up over time!"

"About a year ago I purchased the roll up tonneau cover, which was more expensive. Unfortunately, it was damaged due to a mishap requiring me to get another. This cover installed quickly and easy. I think it even looks much better. It fits tighter and allows a little more room in the bed of the truck. Would you like to know about the mishap? Well, the roll back cover has a long strap to open and assist in the closing of the cover. I inadvertently tossed the strap out of the bed to load an item. As I drove off the rear tire ran over the trailing strap pulling the (rather pricy) cover and frame causing bending beyond repair. It also managed to put a dent into the side of the vehicle. Oh well, watta ya going to do? Live and learn I guess?"

"This cover is a very well made, durable cover. Fits tight so I do not expect any water to leak in. Easy to install. I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 long bed with a factory bed liner. I had to make minor adjustments to the bed liner for the rails to fit. Would definitely purchase again for any truck I buy in the future. Autoanything.com did a fantastic job getting my transaction completed."

"Regardless of what you read, one person can install, with professional results in less than two hours. I'm sure it could be done in 30-40 minutes with two people and all the right tools in hand and ready to go. After installing, I took a trip through some really heavy rains. Very small amounts of water got in and most all of this was through the post stake holes in the top rail of the truck bed. I'll put some blank caps in these and I expect no more than a few drops. Highly recommended and so far I've had tons of compliments on the looks."

"I just recently installed the BAK Bakflip Tonneau Cover and was very pleased with the quality of the product. Installation was very easy, about 30 minutes total and it fit perfectly. I haven't been through a rain yet so can't attest fully to waterproofness, but the design looks like it will work very well in wet weather."

Bak Flip For Toyota Tundra

"The BAK Bakflip was easy to install. It is convenient for the person that does not want to drill into there Truck (buying or leasing. Recently had 2 inches of rain and quit a bit was in the truck bed, so it’s not that great in the rain. I had to add weather stripping to the front edge and rear. Other than that it keeps my stuff out of sight and unless someone takes a pry bar to the end, it is pretty secure. end it is pretty secure."

"I didn't have time until today to install it (I thought it would take 3 hours or more). I was surprised and happy to see that it was so easy - it took me less than 2 hours - and that was with several interruptions. If it turns out to be waterproof when it rains, I will be "super-delighted".

"Bought it for my 5ft Tacoma bed. Simple install, but it would have helped if they included instructions. The device required me to install a lock for the tailgate and the first flap will have to have some modifications to prevent it from being pried open. The back end, near the cab, doesn't open like in the video but is bolted in place, I assume because of the 5 ft bed. Made well and looks good."

"Easy installation. Had to cut liner (that came with truck) to fit. Have a 2007 f150 crew cab. The cover looks really nice. A little annoying when open/close tail gate but I'll deal with it. Have a short bed,and I wanted to make sure I had full access with my cover, so the bakflip works for me."

"This cover is great! It is easy to install, (one person job) looks great, and works well. You will have to replace the weatherstripping on top of the rails as it is apparently the only flimsy thing about this cover. I have placed a block similar to a slim jim block found on the inside of doors on the rear internal latches as it can be unlatched with a slim stiff wire slid between the top of the tailgate cover and the bottom of the back of the cover. You will need to buy a tailgate lock when you get this for security."

"I LOVE THE BAK BAKFLIP TONNEAU
COVER FOR MY HONDA RIDGELINE.
IT IS ABOUT HALF THE PRICE OF
THE COVER OFFERED BY HONDA AND
IT WORKS SO MUCH BETTER. YOU CAN ONLY USE HALF OF THE BED WITH THE HONDA COVER. THAT JUST DOES NOT MAKE SENSE! I AM GLAD I DECIDED TO GET THE BLAKFLIP.

"Eazy to install. Only problem was that the spacer supplied under the mounting bolts was included seperately and not addressed in the instructions. I found out that the spacer was already installed at the factory and should not have been included as a seperate piece. Other that that it was a piece of cake. I used velcro to attach two empty denatured alcohol bottles as a collector for the water overflow and tucked them in close to the rear/top of the bed cover. I did not have to drill holes for water seepage. Also used a little clear silicone in the front corners."
