"I wish the plastic slam locks were just a bit longer. They catch but barely.
When closing cover , the rubber on the sides tend to bunch up.
Missing plugs or caps on the hinge, second panel back
Overall I'm happy with the cover."

Bakflip Cover - '06 Tundra Double Cab

"Cover install video was well done and easy to follow. Once installed, operation and use is very easy. Moving the cover all the way to the front as instructed caused the last piece not to latch near the tailgate. Cover sits slightly higher (3/8") than the rails near the front, and the rubber seals are not all the way down against the rail. I have some concern about rain leaking in."

"I Love the look of my backflip on my Tundra! The install was a breeze, how ever it took 21 day's to receive my backflip and the latch's don't go far enough out on each side to stay latched!I hope they come up with a better way to secure the latch system. Richard M. Harrington De."

"After quite a lot of initial confusion about availability, I received my BAKflip tonneau cover. It is a new product, so I guess a little delay can be forgiven.
But the cover it self is great. Super easy install, very attractive, and installed carefully, no leaks.
I'm totally happy with it, and expect to see more on the road."

"The installation of this cover was very simple for my 2006 F-150 Supercrew. The cover itself looks great! There are a couple of things to be ready for. Firstly, as I read in previous reviews, the two bolts are not treated from the factory, and WILL show rust after the first rain. Secondly, at the front MIDPOINT of the cover, closest to the cab, the cover does not firmly adhere to the bed surface, thus letting a decent amount of rainwater into the bed. HOWEVER, I placed a call to BAK Industries and they were extremely helpful. They are sending me two treated bolts, and 3 different thickness sizes of rubber stop strips in order to reinforce the front of the cover to the truck bed, at no additional cost. Once these items are taken care of, I am sure I will be extremely happy with the cover."

"Installation was pretty simple completed it in about an hour, have had a problem with the front seal lifting off the edge of the bed and the tailgate end has already exhibited a little bit of sagging not noticable until you try to close tailgate with the cover fully extended. I am still very happy with the look of the cover and functionality"

"This top needs a stiffener on the last panel at the tail gate. There is to much flex in this area. I can raise the middle with very little force from one finger"

"Delivery took about fifteen days, as indicated when ordered. Instructions enclosed were for a Dodge Ram, not a Toyota Tundra, but it installed OK. Check out the installation video on the BAK web site before installing the top, it is much better than the instruction sheet that ships with the top. The rails that clamp on the side of bed were warped, but, with a little force, did fit. The tonneau is not waterproof, and leaks slightly when exposed to rain or a car wash. Fortunately it doesn't rain too much here in Southern California. It does look great, however, and compliments the truck color well. The latches are only on the first, third and fourth panels. I think that a latch on the second panel would make it more secure. The latches protrude down about one inch, making some ice chests too high to fit under the cover. Having the ability to open it for large loads is a good thing, and it is quite secure when closed with the tailgate locked. Overall, I'm reasonably satisfied with my purchase."

"Liked the product but the installation directions were a problem. They were a hand-altered sheet from another truck and left out critical information about the orientation of brackets (they had off-set holes, so of course I put them in wrong side up the first time)."

"I just installed my Bakflip cover. It looks great. The install was easy, though the instructions could have been better. The BAK company custom cut the cover for me and I couldn't be more pleased with the fit. With a hard cover and the ability to fold it up it's the best of both worlds."

"I am happy with my purchase of the Bakflip tonneau cover. I wish there was some sort of handle to allow for easier opening but other than that it went on quick and easy it only took around 40 minutes and it looks great. Also, we have had some really heavy rains lately and it is bone dry inside. Good product at a good price."

"THE INSTRUCTIONS COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. I HAVE A 2005 NISSAN FRONTIER. THE 6 PICTURE INSTRUCTIONS SHOWED A DODGE RAM. IT DID NOT SHOW HOW TOU USE THE SIDE MOUNTING BRACKETS IF YOU HAVE THE UTILI-TRACK SYSTEM IN THE BED. I FIGURED IT OUT MYSELF. THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A PARTS LISTING SO YOU WOULD KNOW WHAT IS WHAT. I HAD TO FIGURE OUT ON MY OWN THAT THE TWO METAL SLEEVES THAT WERE THERE HAD TO BE INSERTED INTO THE PRE-DRILLED HOLES WHERE IT MOUNTED TO THE SIDE RAILS. IT LOOKS GREAT AND WAS FAIRLY EASY TO INSTALL ONCE YOU FIGURE IT OUT ON YOUR OWN."
