"It looks great, it is flush with the rails and seals very well. It rained for a few days here right after I installed and was dry underneath. The hardest part of the install was lifting it up onto the truck to set on the rails, but this was my fault because I did the install by myself...wait thats actually a pro not a con because I was acually able to do it by myself.....in 45 minutes at that. This is way better than another topper because I still have full use of the bed at anytime, nothing to remove. I also like that it is secure and it not able to be cut like some toppers."

"Quality and Appearance are excellent. Installation instructions are very poor, but the basics are not hard. NOTE - I have a 2007 titian Crew w/ short bed and bed liner. You MUST cut the bed liner at the front or rear to install the product, and since the Titan has NO provisions for drain holes, (or if they are there, they cannot be seen on the bottom or what little you can see of the rear of the bed) you MUST drill holes in the liner and bed to install the drains."

"Pros: Overall the Tonneau is Excellent! Fits perfect on my '03 F150 short bed and looks great. I like the fact it locks to the rails, fits tight, and the bed is secure with a locking tailgate. Cons: Drain tubes do not work with molded bedliners unless you drill a hole, defeating purpose of the bedliner(just run longer tubes to gap by tailgate to drain water). The back seal against tailgate could be longer. Overall PROS outweigh the cons! Worth the money 100%!"

"The instructions that can with the cover are terrible but, BakFlip does have a good install video on their website which made the install go easier. The cover fits good but, I had to modify the rails at the tailgate to get the last section of the cover to close correctly on my 2008 Ram 3500.
Since rail caps are required to install this cover, I would recommend that you go with real rail caps instead of the plastic strips that come with the cover.
Overall it seems to be sturdy and looks good on the truck."

"The insatallation went fairly well. I have difficulty in screwing the star knob for the top right corner as there seem to be a flaw in the design. The knob is to big and is retrained from spinng by the water drain mechanism next to it. I need smaller star knobs. PLEASE HELP as one of my star knobs isn't in place. Apart from that i like the product and think it is fairly price. However all the parts should work incident free at that price level.

"Very nice product and does what it advertises. The cable release from either side is very nice and operates well, even one handed. Each section latching is very cool.
It installed easily... The comments from other customers as well as visiting the YouTube videos was very helpful. I did need to modify my bed liner as suggested by another customer, but other than that it installed in an evening.
Overall looks great, truck looks nice and it's great to have a locked area out of sight and the weather."

"I would probably choose the Extang model over the Bakflip if I could do it over again for one reason: The Bakflip has 2 rail bars that cover the existing rail system. The Extang model only covers the existing rail system in about 3 places where it latches to the truck, exposing the existing rail system for other uses."

"I received the package and promptly started the install. First of I would like to say it is a very good product with great looks. Here is the problem - The installation instructions are the worst I have ever seen on any aftermarket product I have ever purchased. After removing the rails four times I was able to get the shims positioned properly. You would think the manufacturer would be able to take some digital pictures of your specific vehicle and run some photocopies off of thier copy machine. Come on Bakflip - get with the times, the tiny little generic installation brochure is worthless. If your a novice you are going to have a hard time installing this cover."

"It fits like a Glove! I pay attention to every minute detail. This cover fit my F150 supercrew perfect. Although I had to order another set of rails because they were bent in transport, It was worth the wait. I have had a lot of compliments on the looks of the cover on my truck. Functional, secure, helps on fuel economy, good looks, what more could I ask."

"The installation went well and the black finish fits in with the overall appearance of my black tacoma. It would be nice if they supplied bungy cords or straps to secure the cover in the different positions. Also an optional toolbox underneath, near the cab, would be a good option since putting a tool box on top is not possible."

"The only "ding" I have on this product is the poor installation tri-fold documentation. After calling BAK, I was told to go to YouTube and search on Bakflip G2....this resulted in a great 4 minute video on installing the Bakflip--wish they'd put that link in the shipping box. Another great surprise was the locking mechanisms at every joint. I was wondering how the cover stayed down and now I know. Only drawback is there are no holes in the bed for the drain tubes (that drain the water out of the channels). All in all, I am totally pleased so far with my cover."

"My old soft cover was hard to work in the winter. It would get very stiff. It was hard to roll up and close back up. I would have to roll it up to get to the front of my bed, not very convenient. My new cover flips up in seconds and right back down with no effort. Easy to install. Great product."

"I've only had my tonneau a short time. It was very easy to install and looks better than I thought it would. The lines in the material cover do not match up from panel to panel but only paticular people will notice this. I read reviews of the cover leaking however I made a signifigant drive in the rain (approx 150 miles) and there was no water in the bed when we arrived. I think the price is a little high and I don't know how long the rubber between the panels will last but I really like my cover overall."
