Description

There are 2 problems with traditional tonneau covers: they block cargo access or they don't provide enough security. BAK solves both these age-old problems with the G2 version of the BakFlip Tonneau Cover. Flip it back for total bed access and rear window protection, or fold it forward and lock it in place for a solid defense against thieves.

Tonneaus are constantly exposed to harsh weather, so the BakFlip is built to withstand Mother Nature's wrath. Each panel's crafted from aerospace-grade honeycomb core bonded on both sides to a tough ABS laminate. "Overall, I am pleased. Installation was easy (good thing there was a YouTube video showing the installation process out there, much more help than the provided instructions) took less than 20 minutes with unpacking time, coffee drinking, and inspecting our work, included. Even with the gasket material provided, the cover does not give a "tight" appearance. Much rain and it looks like the contents of the bed will get wet. We will have to see should it rain in West Texas."

"I mounted the Backflip G2 yeasterday morning - took about 20 minutes total. I did it by myself, but it would have been much easier if I'd had someone help me lift the cover itself onto the truck after I mounted the rails. The instructions are easy to follow, so anyone can do this!"

"It's nice to be able to open a cover all the way to the cab. It looks nice, and it keeps your stuff dry. A bit pricey, but not a bad deal considering the price of others. It was easy to install, and equally easy to operate."

"This has been a fantastic cover. The only time I get any leaks is when I go to the car wash and get sprayed with high-pressure, sideways water streams. I've had it in 2 rain storms now with no water penetration. I've also had it on for a couple months of winter use and it's been great there too. Installation was easy but thanks to having a bed liner, I had to do some triming. I had to trim both the liner at the front corners, and the back end of the rails on the cover. Once I did those things, I was able to finish the install and close the gate without interference. In total, the install took about 2 hours...but I was not in a hurry and took extra time with the bed liner trimming. I would buy it again, and would recommend this to my friends in a heartbeat."

"Great cover. The fastener system is the best I have seen, secures the top nicely to the truck. The rigid structure works great for snow. Does not sag like the vinyl covers do. Instructions are good but more detail would be nice. I went to their web site and viewed the installation video, which added some of the missing details."
