"Recevied product in a timely manner. The cover had two noticeable defects. Called extang, they sent me a new replacement cover immediately. I love this product, it's great. Was informed by extang that this item should have been replaced with the new improved design, and old version removed from the shelf.. All that being said & done I'm very happy.. Ken"

"Online ordered, was shipped fast, AutoAnything is A++, Cover looks great on my truck. Install: 1.Prior review stated "screws were to short for bed rails", I believe the problem lies in the design of the "U" brackets. I modified the brackets to a "J" bracket. It solved the short screw problem, and it gave the brackets a bigger bite on the bed rail. 2. Used the given weather striping on front cab rail to fill gap. 3. Took first road trip, no apparent wind flapping. 75 MPH got 22 MPG.. not bad. nothing to compare with.. first trip in new truck. 4. No apparent water during car washing. Over all, I wanted a roll up that lies flat, which is what this is, no snaps to deal with, and can't see cross rails."

"The good: I haven't had a cover before so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I am impressed. I wasn't sure how it would work, so I kept the box, put the cover on, and had to try it right away because I didn't think it would keep water out. When I was done, I washed the truck, putting the water directly to it, the bed stayed dry, and I threw out the box. It fits good, looks sharp and is easy to use. The bad: Instructions were very lacking and it fits tight at the back because of the rear spoiler."

"FINISHED APPEARANCE OF COVER IS GREAT. INSTALLATION OF TRACKS TO HOLD COVER NEEDS TO BE REWORKED. THE 6 BRACKETTS TO HOLD THE COVER TIGHT TO THE BED HAD TO BE REDRILLED TO BE ABLE TO BRING THE TRACKS DOWN THE LAST QUARTER INCH. THE BOLTS FOR THE FRONT TWO BRACKETS ARE TO LONG AND HAD TO BE REWORKED."

"Overall I am happy with the cover. It still flaps in the wind but not very much. Nice and low for a clean look. Installation was pretty easy but needed to buy additional rubber blocks at hardware store to keep side rails level to box rail. Would probably buy another one. I have not taken through a car wash and am curious if the water will get in. Make sure you get your free gift(max seal kit) Mine never came with it."

"This cover only took 30 minutes to install on my new o9 F150 ford. It fits very tight and flat. I also installed the tailgate seal. No rain yet, byt I think it will be fine. Showed it to my friend last night night and he is ordering one for his F150 Extang did a fine job on this one."

"Cover looks, fits, and opens/closes good. Has not been in a hard rain yet. High pressure car wash with a hand wand caused some inleakage. Not sure if the cover extends near enough to the cab to prevent inleakage. Directions for use of mounting brackets were not clear. Decided to combine brackets to make distance between rails shorter near the tailgate; this made a tight fit at the tailgate without having to trim the bed liner."

Extang Revolution Tonneau Cover

"I installed theExtang Revolution Tonneau Cover on my 2500HD Crew Cab. The instructions are accurate, the parts kit complete and the finish product is excellent. The only issue I had was the requirement to remove the four retractable tie-down hooks as the Extang Revolution side rails partially cover the tie downs. However, Extang does provide plastic plugs to close out the holes. I guess I could dremel out the side rails at a later date, but I did not want to effect warranty right out of the box. Finally, no need for fasteners, velcro and it fits like a glove with no leaks. I am very happy with this product and would highly recommend it."

Nice cover with some installation issues

"The cover looks great now that it is installed but it was a bumpy road getting it there. The bed rails on my Tacoma are utilized in the installation which make it slightly different than other trucks. The brackets that came with the kit were different than the instructions that were provided. On the truck, the bed at the tailgate end narrows slightly causing some alignment issues if you don't know to use a spacer bracket (hence having correct instructions is crucial). After I called, Extang sent the correct instructions. I also had to cut off a portion of the plastic bed rail cap that came with the truck to help the rails provided with the cover fit more flush at the same tailgate location. It was not as easy as I hoped but after all was said and done, I like the cover. It has already helped gas mileage and looks great."

"I was looking at the undercover hard cover but I did not like the fact that when I needed to carry something away from home that I could not. With the Revolution you give up a little in security but you get a lot of flexibility and I picked up .5 mpg."

"I love this cover, it installed easy and keeps the elements out. When I wash it a little water gets in, but it just rained here and I was on the highway and didnt detect any water in the bed. The design is great, no snaps or velcro like others, it uses spring tension to keep in secure, and it doesnt flop around, even at 80 mph! Would recommend this to anyone!!"

Extang Revolution on Tundra CrewMax

"This bed cover went on in just a couple minutes with no problems at all...I was scared at first because the box came and it said "Tundra Double Cab 5.5' Bed" - I have a CrewMax with the 5.5' bed, not a double cab...the double cabs aren't even available with that bed. Anyway, opened it up and it fit perfectly. There is a bag of accessories included that I never opened...it looked intimidating but they must have been for custom fitting jobs because I didn't need any of them and the instructions didn't mention them. Install time was 15 minutes...just line up the three clamps on each side rail and lock them down, snap the cover on the front and roll it to the back, done! Looks excellent, stays nice and flat, you cant see the cross bars."

"I purchased and helped install this on my fathers 1971 work truck. Installation went well even with my father. this was the only model that made a tonneau cover for a 1971 chevy truck. The install went well, but my father is wonderful at pointing out all of the minor issues. After it was installed we received rain, and he noticed that there was one corner that did leak. with minor weather stripping we solved that problem. before we installed the product we wondered how it would work. we figured out that it does work well and is tight. the truck does not go over 40, so i am not sure how it would work high speed. overall, would purchase again."

"like the cover overall, little pricey, fits and looks good on truck. does leak in certain spots when it rains nothing major, havent had it on that long ,waiting for some hot days which might help it stretch and seal to frame a little better.shipping was on time, received one broken bow clip.extang shipped out a new one no problems. im happy with the purchase thus far. i also have an over the rail linex spray-in bed linner."

"I was looking for a low profile cover and of all the soft tonneau's available I chose the Extang Revolution. From the low profile design, the spring tensioned locking system, and the flat look with no visible cross bars there's nothing else like it. My brother-in-law just ordered one for his Titan after seeing mine."

"This tonneau cover was very easy to install. All materials are of excellent quality. Vinyl cover is heavy duty, as are the bows sown into the cover. After I got it installed on my 2008 GMC Sierra crew cab it looked great, lays flat and super tight from cab to tail gate. Washed the truck the other day and sprayed the hose at the edges of the seals just to see if I could make it leak, didn't leak a drop."

Good Cover

"This is a very good cover that went on very easily. It took me maybe 30-40 minutes. Everything fit perfectly. I like the spring tension, should be a lot nicer during the winter months here in MI. It also keeps the cover nice and tight, no wrinkles! I did have it out in the rain and it does leak a bit like any other cover, but no worse, and no puddling on top despite it being flat. Overall a great product!"
