If you are looking for a reasonable no frills, well built and good looking Tonneau cover, the Black Max is a good choice. It is very well built and looks good installed. Installation must be on a warm sunny day or it will be a lot of work. If you are not going to be taking it on and off a lot, the this is the ticket. If you use your truck bed a lot, then spend the extra money and get one that has the pistons and lifts without unsnapping. For what I paid, I am happy with the cover.

install was fairly easy with two people. was a bit tight the first time, but is easy to stretch now. the clamps are only on the sides, and i notice the back moving while i drive on the freeway - it appears air is getting under the cover at the tailgate and making the tarp try to flap, but the clamps are holding tight (for now). It has handled the recent SoCal winds of 55mph gusts with me driving against the wind on the freeway pretty well. Haven't noticed any difference in mpg, even without the windy days. I mainly bought it to hide the contents of the bed, and it does that well.
