Extang TuffTonno Peel & Seal Roll Up Tonneau Cover Part #14940 Customer Reviews

Receipt of my cover was prompt and based on the easy removal of the old rails and clamps I had confidence I could install it myself. The instructions were reasonably easy to follow. It took me an hour to install the new unit mainly because I kept re-reading the instructions and adjusting the rails once they were in place. The only help I needed was lifting the unit onto the truck because of the size. I am a petite, 67 year old so if I can do it, you can too.

I couldn't believe how fast this order came. It was just 2 days until it was on my porch! My son and his friend installed it in about 25 minutes. And of course, they didn't read directions so were able to figure it easily. Looks great! So far, so good!

This is the second Extang Tonneau III cover I have owned along with a Black Max cover. They were all on GM vehicles and two of them were on vehicles that were driven in the Northeast winters. Keep them clean and use the Tonneau Magic and they will last longer then your truck.

Cover is well constructed of quality materials. I found the assembly instructions a little difficult to follow, since I was doing it alone and couldn't pick up the frame and put it assembled on the bed walls. So, I clamped one side on, then the front, then the other side. All worked perfectly. Excellent price/value.

Step-by-step instructions could be better. I slid the gasket for the cover into the cab rail only to realize it was upside down...easy enough to pull it back out and fix, but cost me extra time to install.

I purchased the Extang Tuff Tonneau iii Cover and am very happy with it. I just got home from a heavy rain and looked in the back of my Chevy and it was dry. I put the frame on tne bed and started the front first and it worked out great. I tried it on the floor first and it seemed a little awkward but after placing it on the bed first I think 20 minutes would do the install. Very happy with this purchase. Dude

Replaced my ten year old Extang Black Max, on my 2002 GMC Sierra, only due to damage done to the cover by myself. New cover is great. Easy install, good looks, good price, and most important, made in the USA!!!

Nice cover ,easy installation, was surprised the first time I removed rails and the end came out of the rail thank goodness it did go back in.I hope it will not get lost sometime in the future, other than that seems good for the price.

Latch on rear roll in bar broke after the third time I used it. Hard to close the peal and seal design, I had a peal and seal that came on a ford as a factory option, by far much easier to close, Would not buy another one . Carl
