I've used Extang Platinum snap-fit covers for years, so this is my first experience with a snapless cover. As with the Platinum, installation was a snap (pun intended) except for the tailgate bar. Getting it to snap into the side rails was heavy work. I'm hoping it gets easier to remove and replace as time goes on. Same thing, to a much lesser degree, with the sides of the cover. I suspect they'll be very difficult to get in place in colder weather.

Sticking head under installed cover I can see a lot of daylight between the forward cover seal and the body of the truck. Driving during a rainstorm will force water into the cab end of the truck bed. Have to add an additional seal to the existing cover seal. Otherwise the J seal side areas appear to be water proof. Had to use a tap and die on all the threads used to bolt down the side j-seal channels. Had previously bought 2 Extang covers and never had this problem.
