Great product just very poor instructions. The location and wire colors for the trigger leads in the instructions are wrong. I ended up at a Pace Edwards dealer to make this product function properly. Cost me money that I should not have had to pay out. The tech support is worthless, they only repeated what was on the instruction sheet.

First off, the installation was relatively easy with the exception of where the tan/gr & tan/white wires were under the dash. It took me a phone call to pace edwards as well as some digging on Dodges build it web page to finally find the wires in question. And yes, the correct wires for a 2009 Dodge Ram are tan/gr & tan/wh, but they are behind the kick panel on the drivers side. The locking mechanism could stand to be a bit more sturdy but overall I am extremely pleased with the powergate.

The PowerGate is an excellent product/ Mechanically, it was very easy to install. The only drawback was the very poor installation instructions. I had to take off a lower dash panel, a wiring harness bracket and the front seat to have enough room to search and locate the white/tan - white/lt green wires to tap into for actuating the lock. The instructionsw said the two wires were near the brake pedal. The were behind a bracket on the far left side under the carpet. That was a nightmare to find and tap into.
