Lund Genesis Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover Part #950121 Customer Reviews
Reviewed by James S (Sioux Falls, SD) Reviewed for a 2010 Toyota Tundra — Mar 30, 2013 10:26 AM
Installation was a breeze. I'm somewhat concerned about longivity/durability of the mounting clamps. They seem to be a bit fragile and cheaply made.

The Tri-Fold by Lund is a superior buy. On my last truck, I purchased a Lund Tri-Fold by chance. I could have picked any other brand. They all pretty much looked the same... One day, I took off without securing the cover while folded. The cover opened like a parachute and ripped off of my truck. The plastic joints were ruined. I called Lund the next day and explained what happened, ensuring they knew it was my fault. They paid for me to return the broken cover and sent me new at no expense. They said that they like to sometimes see drastic failures in hopes of improved engineering for the next model. For my new Toyota Tundra and for my dad's Father's Day gift for his F-150, guess which Tri-Fold brand I purchased!

This was my second Lund Tri-Fold tonnneau. The first was purchased for a 2005 tundra. After 2 years I sold the truck but the tonneau looked like new and still performed like new. So naturally when I bought a newer tundra I bought another Lund Tri-Fold. So far I've had the same great experience from purchase, installation, fit and performance!

This tonneau was exactly as described and was on and in use within 10-15 minutes. The cover has a nice appearance and the framing looks sturdy and quality construction. I made one trip on vacation away from home and this allowed me to load up all of our stuff, keep it dry and lock it up. Then while on vacation I used the truck to store things safely and dry. My son has a tonneau that snaps on and is no where near as nice as this one. I highly recommend this cover as a mid-priced quality product.

The cover looks great and was easy to install, only 4 latches. The extra roll of foam seal was very useful because there was a small gap in the front of the bed. All other sides sealed great. It's very easy to store or remove entirely if you need the bed space. I was able to track the package and it arrived on the date projected.

The cover looks very good on the truck. The fit is great on the 07 Tundra. The installation was quick. I hope the material holds up in the future. Not much info was provided for Limited warranty. Not sure what that will actually cover.
